Once again, Obama holds a news conference Friday morning. Once again the Dow Jones drop. Enough said. The week started out strong in the market, however it was too much with both a press conference and a news conference.

GITMO Detainees in America?

Release prisoners from GITMO into mainstream America and then give them tax payer dollars? To do what? Finish the job they didn't get to do?

I hope there is total outrage in American that these 17 Chinese Muslims are going to be released on American soil and then as tax payers WE have to pay tax dollars to assist them gain back their livelihoods... are you kidding me.

Well China is outraged, they want them to be released back to China... why? So that they can face charges in their country. Though these 17 men did not actually take part in a terrorist activity, they were arrested at an Alqaeda Terrorist Training camp.

And we want to release them and mainstream them into our communities. I don't know about you, but I think Obama and any other democrat who wants to do this should have to adopt these terrorists and take them into their own homes.

Send these men back to their country. Let their country where they are citizens deal with them. We don't need, nor do we want trained terrorist in our country. I ask again... where is the outrage?

Better yet, why doesn't Obama provide refuge for these prisoners in the White House... let's see how safe he thinks his own children will be.

"It is an outrage and a scandal that 'Our Lady's University,' one of the premier Catholic universities in the United States, would bestow such an honor on President Obama given his clear support for policies and laws that directly contradict fundamental Catholic teachings on life and marriage," the petition at notredamescandal.com reads.

Yes, they want to bestow an honorary Doctorate degree for the president who has put forth some of the most anti-life actions of any American president, including expanding federal funding for abortions and inviting taxpayer-funded research on stem cells from human embryos.

For years they all spoke out during the Clinton administration and continued early into the Bush administration. Ok first I need to apologize as it is Thursday and I'm just now addressing Obama about Sunday. It's just been one of those weeks where I just couldn't stop. However don't even believe I wouldn't find a spare moment to talk about the man.

Obama had an evening press conference on Tuesday evening, oh man I missed it. No worries I read the transcript, same ole' same ole, yes including all the studders. I love it when they include the studders in the transcript.

So yes for the first time since Obama was elected the market had a gain when he opened his mouth or created another googly mistake.

It's cause for celebration. The market WENT up 90 points the day after his press conference. Now that's not much I know, but hey it beats what has been happening. Go Obama.... I'm so proud of you. Oh wait I'm sorry I swore never to lie on my own blog. ok lets just leave it at Go Obama!

The Stimulus

I think Kay Bailey Hutchison said it well when she responded to my email about the Stimulus Package:

The Stimulus bill passed on a party line vote, with all but three Senate Republicans opposing the bill, and was signed into law on February 17, 2009. I strongly opposed H.R. 1 for three primary reasons.

First, I believe the most effective way to stimulate the economy is to leave more money in taxpayers’ pockets. Instead of providing significant tax cuts, the vast majority of the Stimulus bill focused on dramatically expanding government programs. In fact, tax cut provisions in H.R. 1 only represented 27 percent of the total bill. Furthermore, the few tax relief provisions that were included are likely to be ineffective. The largest tax relief provision in the bill, the Making Work Pay Credit, is a $400 tax credit for individuals and an $800 tax credit for couples that will be distributed though decreased paycheck withholdings. For individuals, this amounts to only an additional $7.69 per week. This meager effort will not stimulate our economy out of the current recession.

Second, I believe any stimulus bill should attempt to expend funding immediately and effectively. Instead, in this bill, of the $311 billion in government discretionary spending, only 11.3 percent, or $35 billion, will be spent in 2009. The remainder of the spending will occur over the next ten years. Stimulating our economy over ten years will not bring immediate relief to those feeling the impact of the economic crisis today.

Lastly, this bill will saddle Americans with a significant amount of additional debt. Our national debt is currently above $10.9 trillion dollars. It is irresponsible for our government to wastefully spend taxpayer dollars by the billions when our nation is operating in the red. In addition, it is unfair to place this mounting financial burden on America’s future generations. I could not support a $787 billion bill that will not provide much-needed tax relief; will not spend the funding immediately and effectively; will not create sustainable, private-sector jobs; and will not address the mounting debt facing our country.

Come on Obama....act like a president. There is a REASON an American president has never done late night talk shows. Jeez!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Just makes ya laugh doesn't it. Ok let's be honest here, AIG paid both Obama and Dodd boocoodles of money during their campaigns, and you know how new presidents are....they like to slip some PAYBACK to those companies who contributed to their campaigns.

So lets' just call a spade a spade and say Obama gave the directive and somebody else gets the blame. I'm thinking Geithner (the only man for the treasury job) is on his way out, so yeah lets blame him!!!!

Yes girls and boys, HR45 has hit the House!

OK, boy here we go again. It's the gun bill HR45 which is now in the Senate. It's actually almost a mirror of the gun bill that was defeated in the house last year.

I'm sure the "Big Government" Democrats are behind this bill 100%. However we gun owners know that LAWS only apply to those who obey them. Of course the CRIMINALS could care less.

It's time to rally the troops and write your congressmen, lets just write every congressman. This is crazy and it will take everyone who believes in the 2ND amendment to ensure once again this crazy law with it's crazy restrictions is not passed.

HR 45, Blair Holt Licensing and Record Act of 2009', will make it illegal to own a firearm unless it is registered with the database in Washington. As a gun owner you will have to be finger printed; you will be required to provide your DL#, SS#; you must maintain a valid address at all times; submit to mental and physical health records being put on file; you will also be required to file any address changes and any ownership changes even if a private sale. Each update will cost $25 and if you fail to comply you will lose your right to own firearms.

a) In General- In order to be issued a firearm license under this title, an individual shall submit to the Attorney General (in accordance with the regulations promulgated under subsection (b)) an application, which shall include--
(1) a current, passport-sized photograph of the applicant that provides a clear, accurate likeness of the applicant;
(2) the name, address, and date and place of birth of the applicant;
(3) any other name that the applicant has ever used or by which the applicant has ever been known;
(4) a clear thumb print of the applicant, which shall be made when, and in the presence of the entity to whom, the application is submitted;
(5) with respect to each category of person prohibited by Federal law, or by the law of the State of residence of the applicant, from obtaining a firearm, a statement that the individual is not a person prohibited from obtaining a firearm;
(6) a certification by the applicant that the applicant will keep any firearm owned by the applicant safely stored and out of the possession of persons who have not attained 18 years of age;
(7) a certificate attesting to the completion at the time of application of a written firearms examination, which shall test the knowledge and ability of the applicant regarding--

(A) the safe storage of firearms, particularly in the vicinity of persons who have not attained 18 years of age;
(B) the safe handling of firearms;
(C) the use of firearms in the home and the risks associated with such use;
(D) the legal responsibilities of firearms owners, including Federal, State, and local laws relating to requirements for the possession and storage of firearms, and relating to reporting requirements with respect to firearms; and
(E) any other subjects, as the Attorney General determines to be appropriate;

(8) an authorization by the applicant to release to the Attorney General or an authorized representative of the Attorney General any mental health records pertaining to the applicant;
(9) the date on which the application was submitted; and
(10) the signature of the applicant.
(b) Regulations Governing Submission- The Attorney General shall promulgate regulations specifying procedures for the submission of applications to the Attorney General under this section, which regulations shall--
(1) provide for submission of the application through a licensed dealer or an office or agency of the Federal Government designated by the Attorney General;
(2)require the applicant to provide a valid identification document (as defined in section 1028(d)(2) of title 18, United States Code) of the applicant, containing a photograph of the applicant, to the licensed dealer or to the office or agency of the Federal Government, as applicable, at the time of submission of the application to that dealer, office, or agency;
(3) require that a completed application be forwarded to the Attorney General not later than 48 hours after the application is submitted to the licensed dealer or office or agency of the Federal Government, as applicable.

(c) Fees-
(1) IN GENERAL- The Attorney General shall charge and collect from each applicant for a license under this title a fee in an amount determined in accordance with paragraph
(2) FEE AMOUNT- The amount of the fee collected under this subsection shall be not less than the amount determined by the Attorney General to be necessary to ensure that the total amount of all fees collected under this subsection during a fiscal year is sufficient to cover the costs of carrying out this title during that fiscal year, except that such amount shall not exceed $25.

Oops, Obama pulls a Biden!

Newsmax reports: Appearing on "The Tonight Show," the president told host Jay Leno he'd been practicing at the White House's bowling alley but wasn't happy with his score of 129. The he rolled a gutter ball by quipping: "It was like the Special Olympics or something."

The audience laughed, but the White House quickly recognized the blunder.
On his way back to Washington on Air Force One, Obama called the chairman of the Special Olympics, Tim Shriver, to say he was sorry even before the taped program aired late Thursday night.

"He expressed his disappointed and he apologized in a way that was very moving. He expressed that he did not intend to humiliate this population," Shriver said Friday on ABC's "Good Morning America." Obama, Shriver said, wants to have some Special Olympic athletes visit the White House to bowl or play basketball. (Too little, too late Obama)

Still, Shriver said, "I think it's important to see that words hurt and words do matter. And these words that in some respect can be seem as humiliating or a put down to people with special needs do cause pain and they do result in stereotypes."

Deputy Press Secretary Bill Burton told reporters traveling with Obama that the president's offhand remark was not meant to disparage the Special Olympics, only to poke some fun at the commander-in-chief's bowling skills.

"He thinks that the Special Olympics are a wonderful program that gives an opportunity to shine to people with disabilities from around the world," Burton said.

Despite making fun of his score, the president appears to be getting better the more he visits the White House lanes, which President Truman installed in 1947. During a campaign photo op a year ago at a bowling alley in Altoona, Pa., he rolled only a 37 in seven frames. The clip of the disastrous game was replayed on late night television shows such as Leno's _ one of Obama's few campaign gaffes. (Not counting the 57 states comment). hehe

Feds Undercut Ammo Supply is Reveresed

Responding to two Democratic senators representing outraged private gun owners, the Department of Defense announced last night it has scrapped a new policy that would deplete the supply of ammunition by requiring destruction of fired military cartridgebrass.

The policy already had taken a bite out of the nation's stressed ammunition supply, leaving arms dealers scrambling to find ammo for private gun owners.
Mark Cunningham, a legislative affairs representative with the Defense Logistics Agency, explained in an e-mail last night to the office of Sen. Jon Tester, D-Mont., that the Department of Defense had placed small arms cartridge cases on its list of sensitive munitions items as part of an overall effort to ensure national security is not jeopardized in the sale of any Defense property.

This is better than the murder mystery theatres. Ok, soooo Who Dunnit? The mystery over who killed a provision in the stimulus package which in fact would of put a limit on the amount of bonuses AIG could give their greedy guys is becoming more and more mysterious.

Senator Ron Wyden and Senator Olympia (I screwed all you republicans) Snowe wrote a provision for the stimulus bill that would have forced bailout recipients to put a cap on bonuses at $100,000 and anything over that amount would be taxed at 35%.

So in the meantime this provision has mysteriously disappeared from the bill. Now know one knows for sure what happened only that the provision is no longer there. Wyden got the support of all Senators and not one of them voted against it. But Wyden also said "it died in Conference". But Wyden also can't tell you WHO killed, when it was killed, where the bill was when this provision was killed. That's exactly what happens when Democrats have secret midnight meetings. You bet I said it....prove it ain't so!

So Obama acting all shocked DEMANDS the person who did this step forward. ::::::::waiting::::::: waiting...oops nobody steps forward. How cute is that?

The Huffington Post reports: "I pulled out all the stops," Wyden told me, "to convince the president's economic team that this amendment was vital to the White House for two reasons: 1) the president had spoken out against bonuses; 2) fury about bonuses would kneecap confidence in the president's entire economic policy."

But no one inside the president's economic team was in favor of it. As Wyden put it: "If the White House economic team had made it clear that this was important, this provision would never have been removed. I don't believe the president has been well-served on the bonus issue by his economic team."

What? huh? there is dissention in the ranks? WHO DUNNIT? Sen. Chris Dodd confessed to adding language to a spending cap in the stimulus bill last month that specifically excluded executive bonuses included in contracts signed before the bill's passage, stating the Treasury Officials forced him to make the changes.

Isn't it funny that AIG donated more money this past year than any year since 1990. And of course we are going to see just where and who that money went to. Of the $587,000 the company doled out to campaigning lawmakers, $443,000 went to Democrats. How funny! And guess, just guess who the two top recipients of the Democratic Party were. Yeppers, Obama and Dodd. Obama was the highest recipient of over $100,000, and Dodd was second only to Obama. Now before you left wingers go all spastic on me, McCain received $59,500. This was a 14 year low for AIG. I believe it's safe to say, AIG gives where they think they will get back the most. Indeed, they are giving to the party who will control congress and the White House. Whichever party that may be.

So as of now there is a lot of finger pointing going on. I just wonder WHO REALLY DUNNIT?

Disarm Pilots?

The Obama administration is quietly taking steps to shut down the program that qualifies commercial airline pilots to carry firearms in jetliner cockpits.

Now, I don't know about you, but I'm feeling a bit more safe knowing that if some lunatic tries to take over a commerical airline with a box cutter (as did happen in the tragic 9/11 attacks) that the airline pilot flying the plane I'm on has a gun to ward off attacks.

The administration recently diverted $2 million from a program to train and certify pilots to carry firearms safely while on duty. Instead, it is using the money to hire additional field inspectors to help discipline pilots who step out of line, according to a report in Tuesday’s Washington Times.

(Ok I need to insert "ARE YOU KIDDING ME?" in here about right now)

A Times editorial condemned the Obama administration's action, calling it “completely unnecessary harassment of the pilots.”

Since Obama took office, the approval process for certifying pilots to carry firearms has ground to a halt, the newspaper reports. Pilots are afraid to speak out about the behind-the-scenes maneuverings, for fear of retaliation, according to the newspaper. No cases have been reported in which pilots have brandished a weapon inappropriately or otherwise abused their eligibility to carry firearms.

Hmmm, maybe we won't be as safe on future flights!

Mr. Obama is having some trouble with the facts when it comes dropout rates and just how well the students are doing.

Factcheck.org reports: This year President Obama is making a case for spending more on teachers' salaries, early education and more as part of his new agenda.

We certainly wouldn't argue that education can't be improved, but some of the figures Obama used painted a bleaker picture than actually exists:

1. The high school dropout rate hasn't "tripled in the past 30 years," as Obama claimed. According to the Department of Education, it has actually declined by a third. (lol Obama missed this one by a long shot, see graph above)
2. Eighth-grade math scores haven't "fallen" to ninth place compared with other countries. U.S. scores have climbed to that ranking from as low as 28th place in 1995. (Wow, Obama left this great news out....)
3. Obama also set a goal "of having the highest proportion of college graduates in the world" by 2020. But in terms of bachelor's degrees, we're nearly there. The U.S. is already second only to Norway in the percentage of adults age 25 to 64 with a four-year degree, and trails by just 1 percentage point.

Once again Mr. Obama is painting a picture of doom and gloom. I agree with Factcheck.org, there is lots of room for improvement in our Educational System, however I also believe Obama should call a spade a spade and stop the lil' white lies he tells just to get his agenda passed. I mean whatever happened to integrity? ethics? Isn't a man's word his honor?

Obama....You got some splaining to do!

Remember just a few months back, during campaign 2008, John McCain's health care plan included taxation of the employee's benefits.

Do you also remember every single democrat on news stations, news papers, bloggers and Internet chat rooms cried "OH MY GOSH, tax our health care benefits?"

Remember also how many times Obama bashed John McCain for wanting to tax our health care benefits, every speech he made, during the debates, his TV ads, and on his website.

Well guess what? Yep you guessed it, Obama wants to tax YOUR health care benefits too! I'll let you read what the New York times said yesterday:

WASHINGTON — The Obama administration is signaling to Congress that the president could support taxing some employee health benefits, as several influential lawmakers and many economists favor, to help pay for overhauling the health care system.

The proposal is politically problematic for President Obama, however, since it is similar to one he denounced in the presidential campaign as “the largest middle-class tax increase in history.” Most Americans with insurance get it from their employers, and taxing workers for the benefit is opposed by union leaders and some businesses.

The funny part IS, John McCain was going to TAX your health benefits, in exchange he was going to give all families a tax credit to subsidize the purchase of coverage. NOW you libtards may get your health benefits taxed...with no tax credit. Good going Obama!!!!

Recession Comparison

With all this talk about doom & gloom from Mr. Obama over the past 52 days, I started to wonder .... is there more to this recession than I'm seeing. I mean I have lived through a few recessions and it got me wondering. I mean with all the words Obama was using... disaster, catastrophe, crisis, urgent, not a run of the mill recession, a negative spiral the nation may not be able to recover from, dire state, economy of this severity, worst economic crisis since the Great Depression... and so on and so on! The list goes on but I have little patience to continue.

So I decided to chart a comparison of this recession and previous recessions in the 1980's and 1970's. With so much talk about this being the worst recession since the Great Depression, I kept wondering, does Obama know something I don't know. I'm confused, as you can see above, well it ain't as bad as some of the other recessions we've witnessed in our lifetime. So far, this recession doesn't quite fit into any of the adjectives which Mr. Obama has used. It makes one wonder why Mr. Obama has painted such a bleak picture. Oh wait, he need a trillion dollars in two spending bills to be passed... silly me!

I don't know about you but I find this all very interesting. I mean I don't deny we are in a recession, and economist have already predicted that by the 4th quarter of this year we should be moving beyond the recession...with or with out the spending bills. I just find it a bit too much when doom and gloom is wide spread.

For sure the economy sucks right now, however if you compare it to other recessions...well it's not quite so bad. I'm thinking Obama should call it as it is, not as he needs Americans to believe... so that he can get his agenda passed.

China Worried about the American Dollar

BEIJING – China's premier didn't say it in so many words, but the implied warning to Washington was blunt: Don't devalue the dollar through reckless spending.


Oh no...brings back Eminent Domain fears! "Premier Wen Jiabao's message is unlikely to be misunderstood at the White House. It is counting on Beijing to help pay for its stimulus package by buying U.S. bonds. China already is Washington's biggest foreign creditor, with an estimated $1 trillion in U.S. government debt. A weaker dollar would erode the value of those assets."

"Of course we are concerned about the safety of our assets. To be honest, I'm a little bit worried," Wen said at a news conference Friday after the closing of China's annual legislative session. "I would like to call on the United States to honor its words, stay a credible nation and ensure the safety of Chinese assets."

Yeah Mr. Jiabao'...we are worried about the American Dollar also!

Wen gave no indication whether Beijing wants changes in U.S. policy. But economists said his comments reflect fears that higher U.S. budget deficits from Washington's $787 billion stimulus package could drive down the dollar and the value of China's Treasury notes.

"China is telling the U.S. to be careful, not to overspend and keep an eye on the dollar," said Kelvin Lau, regional economist at Standard Chartered in Hong Kong. "There are risks that China cannot control, so they're depending on the U.S. to maintain fiscal prudence and keep the dollar reasonably stable."

Overspending? Obama? No way! Yes a reasonably stable dollar would be a nice thing!

Obama-urkel's Doom and Gloom

For fifty days and 50 nights Mr. Obama preached "doom and gloom" about the economy.

On the 52nd day, TWO days after his 2nd big spending pork loaded bill was passed, Obama now claims... and I quote: "This economy is not as bad as we thought" and "My plans will speed recovery".

Ok, wait a minute.... I don't get it... what happened to all the DOOM AND GLOOM? You are kidding Mr. Obama, I mean seriously... just two days after your 2nd HUGE spending bill is passed, all of a sudden the economy is not "as bad" as you thought it was.


Ok, lets just call a spade ... a spade. HORSE SHIT, Mr. Obama. How dare you spread "doom and gloom" around American for 50 days and then all of a sudden, two days after your 2nd spending bill passes...well it's just not as bad as you thought. What? where did the "crisis" go, where did the urgency go? Oh my not to mention if we don't pass this bill now America will not survive!

Mr. Obama... nice going, you just spent 50 days spreading "doom and gloom" to get your bills passed? Are you kidding me? You would do that to the American People just to get your agenda taken care of. Oh you can bet I am one pissed off American.

Gifts Galore!!!

Don't even think it passed me by! I just had a very busy week last week. I had to put my "two cents" in on the lavish gifts the Obama's handed out to our longest & oldest Allies... the British.

Ok I'm going to try to be as NICE as possible. OMG do you Obama's have no taste? DVD's... seriously..."what where you thinking".

I mean Gordon Brown visits the white house and he brings with him a pen set for Mr. Obama. Not just any pen set, but a wood pen set to match the desk in the Oval Office. Barack Obama was given a pen made from the wood of the HMS Resolute. (you know the story...England's warship the HMS which was stranded in the Arctic Circle and the USA went and pulled it out of the ice and sailed it to England).

So the HMS is decommissioned and Queen Elizabeth decided to have two desks made from its wood and she keeps one, and the other is sent to Washington where it still stands today in the Oval Office (it should be in a museum). Get the picture, so the Browns arrive and Obama first gives him back the Bust of Churchill. (Thanks but no thanks) and Gordan says no, no, no this was a gift, you can keep it and put it in a museum. Obama wanted them to drag it back with the 25 dvd's that won't work with England's technology. (LMAO) (of course obama doesn't MAKE Gordon take it, however he just mailed it back to England).

The Brown's bring the Obama girls dresses from the most exclusive designer in London. So Michelle in her size 11 feet, runs down to the White House gift shop and grabs two Marine One Helicopter replica's for the Brown's children. (omg I'm laughing so hard just typing this). Ok I mean seriously...is it safe to say the Obama's should let the State Department purchase gifts from this point forward. lol

So with the Brown's recent visit, it all brings me back to an editorial written back in January by the Brits about Obama's Victory. Whether you agree with the article or not... you will have to agree it is very well written. Here goes:

Like most liberal zealots, the Obama worshippers constantly speak of Fox and Limbaugh, when the vast bulk of television stations and newspapers are drastically liberal and anti-conservative.

Senior Democrat Chuck Schumer said that just as pornography should be censored, so should talk radio. In other words, one of the few free and open means of popular expression may well be cornered and beaten by bullies who even in triumph cannot tolerate any criticism and opposition.

A victory for those who believe the state is better qualified to raise children than the family, for those who prefer teachers' unions to teaching and for those who are naively convinced that if the West is sufficiently weak towards its enemies, war and terror will dissolve as quickly as the tears on the face of a leftist celebrity.

A victory for social democracy even after most of Europe has come to the painful conclusion that social democracy leads to mediocrity, failure, unemployment, inflation, higher taxes and economic stagnation. A victory for intrusive lawyers, banal sentimentalists, social extremists and urban snobs.

Congratulations America ! Your funeral will be sooner than you think!

What a beautiful day? Let's see.... North Korea testing missiles, Iran testing missiles, China taunting our Navy and Obama claiming he wants to negotiate with "Moderate" Taliban members?

In an interview published in the "The New York Times," Obama said flatly that the United States was not winning the war in Afghanistan, and was ready to adapt tactics it had learned in Iraq to the Afghan war effort. (Oh my didn't the dems go on and on and on and on about how we weren't successful in Iraq and we haven't won the war in Iraq?)

"Yesterday, the American President Obama accepted and approved the path of peace and talks with those Afghan Taliban who he called 'moderates,'" Afghan President Karzai said. "This is good news. This is an approval of our previous stance and we accept and praise it."

Karzai thinks this is a good thing, however others don't agree with him, and there is a lot of debate whether this approach will even work in Afghanistan. Others, such as Mullah Abdul Salam Zaeef, a former Taliban cabinet member and diplomat who last year participated in an informal Saudi-sponsored effort to initiate dialogue with the Taliban, say the United States had no choice but to adopt this strategy.

"First Obama has admitted that the Americans cannot win in Afghanistan and that war is not the solution," Zaeef said. "So if they cannot win, what should they do? Automatically they have to look for an alternative, which is that they have to resolve this conflict though negotiations based on mutual respect."

Do terrorist talk? Is American becoming weak? Do we admit out loud to our foes... we can not defeat you? Do we believe that we can negotiate with terrorists and they will hold up their side of the bargain?

Obama Lies To Gun Owners As Holder Reveals Gun Attack Plan - Obama during his campaign across America told 90 million gun owners he would not take their guns. HE LIED!

CCRKBA Chairman Alan Gottlieb, reacting to yesterday's remarks by Obama's Attorney General Eric Holder that the president will seek to reinstate the ban on semi-automatic firearms, said Obama "knew he was lying to the nation because his own website touted his plan to revive the gun ban and make it permanent."

Across the country on the campaign trail, Obama told voters "I'm not going to take your guns away. He said it in Duryea, PA, and in Boise, Idaho. He told a news conference that "Lawful gun owners have nothing to fear...I think people can take me at my word."

Oh I've heard that one before....take me at my word! I think I'll continue to scrutinize every word that comes from your mouth Mr. Obama.

Along with trying to control gun ownership, Mr. Obama wants to code all ammo.... he wants to know "who's buying". As well he wants to put huge taxes on ammo.....

What is his mission? Stop people from killing... you dippy.... law abiding citizens DON'T kill, it's the scum that steal guns and ammo that kill. I'm sure they are going to follow the new laws exactly like they did the old laws.

The financial crisis explained in simple terms.

Heidi is the proprietor of a bar in Berlin . In order to increase sales, she decides to allow her loyal customers - most of whom are unemployed alcoholics - to drink now but pay later.

She keeps track of the drinks consumed on a ledger (thereby granting the customers loans).

Word gets around and as a result increasing numbers of customers flood into Heidi's bar.

Taking advantage of her customers' freedom from immediate payment constraints, Heidi increases her prices for wine and beer, the most-consumed beverages. Her sales volume increases massively.

A young and dynamic customer service consultant at the local bank recognizes these customer debts as valuable future assets and increases Heidi's borrowing limit. He sees no reason for undue concern since he has the debts of the alcoholics as collateral.

At the bank's corporate headquarters, expert bankers transform these customer assets into DRINKBONDS, ALKBONDS and PUKEBONDS. These securities are then traded on markets worldwide.

No one really understands what these abbreviations mean and how the securities are>> guaranteed. Nevertheless, as their prices continuously climb, the securities become top-selling items.

One day, although the prices are still climbing, a risk manager (subsequently of course fired due to his negativity) of the bank decides that finally the time has come to demand payment of the debts incurred by the drinkers at Heidi's bar.

However, they cannot pay back the debts. Heidi cannot fulfill her loan obligations and claims bankruptcy.

DRINKBOND and ALKBOND drop in price by 95 %. PUKEBOND performs better, stabilizing in price after dropping by 80 %.

The suppliers of Heidi's bar, having granted her generous payment due dates and having invested in the securities are faced with a new situation.

Her wine supplier claims bankruptcy, her beer supplier is taken over by a competitor. The bank is saved by the Government following dramatic round-the-clock consultations by leaders from the governing political parties.

The funds required for this purpose are obtained by a tax levied on the non-drinkers.

Top news of the day... Obama sends a secret letter to Russia's President last month playing "Let's Make a Deal"!

To be sure that the facts are straight, I'll quote the NEW YORK TIMES!

"President Obama sent a secret letter to Russia's president last month suggesting that he would back off deploying a new missile defense system in Eastern Europe if Moscow would help stop Iran from developing long-range weapons, American officials said Monday."

"The letter to President Dmitri A. Medvedev was hand-delivered in Moscow by top administration officials three weeks ago. It said the United States would not need to proceed with the interceptor system, which has been vehemently opposed by Russia since it was proposed by the Bush administration, if Iran halted any efforts to build nuclear warheads and ballistic missiles."

"The officials who described the contents of the message requested anonymity because it has not been made public. While they said it did not offer a direct quid pro quo, the letter was intended to give Moscow an incentive to join the United States in a common front against Iran. Russia’s military, diplomatic and commercial ties to Tehran give it some influence there, but it has often resisted Washington’s hard line against Iran."

ARE YOU KIDDING ME?

Ok, I get infrastructure, I get some spending to get the economy rolling but I DON'T GET eminent domain rights to China.

Obama is borrowing the money from the Chinese to support his big spending. He is borrowing this money via the sale of government backed bonds, .... the Chinese are a bit hesitant because he is SPENDING so much money they don't feel Obama will be able to make good on them. So what does Obama do..... does he grant eminent domain right to CHINA... meaning he is backing the bonds with collateral - America's Homeland as Collateral?

Is it true? China sources say Hillary brought an agreement with her during her visit.

This means that in the event the US Government defaults on its financial obligations to China, the Communist Government of China would be permitted to physically take -- inside the USA -- land, buildings, factories, perhaps even entire cities - to satisfy the financial obligations of the US government.

Ok I thought I'd heard it all but this goes beyond anything anyone could dream of. I just hope that if Obama backed those loans with eminent domain, he did it with heavily populated LIBERAL land!
