Welcome all! I intend to keep the current administration honest, well along with some trashing the administration for the next four years. Indeed it shall be fun. Sit back, relax, enjoy and share in the bashing!

Arlene Specter...you can have him, take Collins and Snowe too!
Come on! Please tell me NONE of you were surprised! With last weeks report that Pat Toomey was leading by 21 points in the polls against Arlen Specter was ...lets see what is that saying "the straw that broke the camels back", yes that's it!
Yes please understand Democrats...we hand you Arlen Specter on a silver platter. Indeed WE DO NOT WANT HIM. While we are jumping the aisles you might want to go ahead and take Susan Collins and Olympia Snowe, as these two lovely ladies will also be up for re-election and when that happens they will also find themselves in the same position as Mr. Specter....yes indeed...losing their re-election to a REAL republican.
I found the article in yesterdays Washington Post very interesting:
The night before the Senate vote on President Obama's $787 billion stimulus bill, one question echoed through the West Wing: Where is Arlen Specter? The Republican senator from Pennsylvania would not answer his phone. Not for White House Chief of Staff Rahm Emanuel, Pennsylvania Gov. Edward G. Rendell (D) or Harry M. Reid (D-Nev.), the Senate majority leader.
The president, a senator himself only a few months before, had spent weeks courting Specter. Obama had invited him to his Super Bowl party days earlier, gently teasing the prickly lawmaker about wearing a coat and tie to a relaxed social gathering. He had also brought Specter in for a 15-minute, one-on-one session in the Oval Office.
"This is the first president I've ever met alone," Specter would later say of the meeting. "I'm just searching for the right word -- it was unique."
With the vote only hours away, the job of finding the senator fell to Vice President Biden, who reached him by phone on the morning of the Feb. 13 vote. Soon after, Biden called Emanuel, who had been operating on virtually no sleep for several days, with the news: Specter would vote yes. In return for his support, Specter, who has Hodgkin's disease, won a large increase in cancer research funding for the National Institutes of Health. lol and you guys thought it was all about democracy and that the democrats were calling him, no sorry it was about what Arlen Specter would get for himself. Oops! he sold out the people he represented all for personal reasons. No wonder he is 21 points behind in the polls!
"The dominoes," a senior adviser involved in the lobbying effort recalled, "began to fall into place."
Hours later, the Senate delivered the filibuster-proof 60 votes needed in favor of a measure that senior White House officials noted among themselves was more costly than the New Deal. For Specter, the vote represented a major step toward leaving the Republican Party, a defection he announced yesterday, putting Obama closer to being able to force his will in the Senate.
$328,835.00 Well Spent Dollars (tax payers dollars)
Monday, New Yorkers got a huge scare as the backup Air Force One was on a photo op. The jet was escorted by two F16 fighter jets. The low fly over caused panic among the citizens of New York and New Jersey.
Immediately the WH released this statement:
"At 4:39 p.m. Monday, the White House issued an apology for the flyover. Louis E. Caldera, director of the White House Military Office, who served in the Clinton administration as secretary of the Army, said in a statement: Last week, I approved a mission over New York. I take responsibility for that decision. While federal authorities took the proper steps to notify state and local authorities in New York and New Jersey, it’s clear that the mission created confusion and disruption. I apologize and take responsibility for any distress that flight caused."
Over the past three days the blame for this has gone from one person to another: Obama was shocked and outraged (oh my the president doesn't know where his planes are, nor his administration... oh my that concerns me), Mayor Bloomberg is outraged at not being informed (but hey the WH says they informed the Mayor, and recent articles are saying that his office was informed, but the lines of communication were broken).
Seriously, this was a photo-op to get a picture of the President's plane in front of the Statue of Liberty...and it was kept silent...why? why were the agencies who were told about this not able to warn the citizens? Somebody please answer why?
Once again, we will never know who ordered this ridiculous stunt, no one will know why the public was not told, no one will get questions to any answers. As usual once the public outcry dies down it will be swept under the rug with all the other un-answered questions. That rug is becoming very full in a short time. Yes, next week we will hear nothing, nor the next week... but trust Obama... he said he will get to the bottom of this.

Madam Pelosi
Just HOW much does that HUGE jet Madam Pelosi requested....cost the US tax payers each week?Yes yes we all heard about how Madam Pelosi didn't want to have to stop and refuel on her way to and from California each week so she DEMANDED a huge jet with plenty of room for family, staff and supporters.
Ms. Pelosi flies to Washington each Monday, however unlike the rest of us hard earning Americans, she only has a 3 day work week. Must be nice, our govt. leaders have such wonderful schedules and the best benefits, as well as FULL retirement after serving in office just one time. WOW, we should all be politicians.
The best part about the new ADMINISTRATION who has told all AMERICANS' that they will have to cut back in this economy...that it will take effort on every American's part... well they didn't MEAN everyone. Let's take Pelosi for example, it costs the American tax payer $60,000 ONE WAY to fuel Madam Pelosi's jet. Now that's twice a week at $120,000, now don't forget that doesn't include the cost of the plane or the crew...just fuel.
Oh my that's 480,000.00 per month and 5,760,000.00 per year JUST to fuel her plane. Wasn't it Madam Pelosi who was talking about us conserving our carbon footprint? As usual... Washington plays by its own rules!

Presidential Poison
His invitation to indict Bush officials will haunt Obama's Presidency. The Wall Street Journal hit the nail on the head in several points in it's article on Obama's attack on the previous administration. I don't normally quote per word but this article said it all and I don't see how I could even state it more clearly and intelligently. Here goes -
"Mark down the date. Tuesday, April 21, 2009, is the moment that any chance of a new era of bipartisan respect in Washington ended. By inviting the prosecution of Bush officials for their antiterror legal advice, President Obama has injected a poison into our politics that he and the country will live to regret."
"Policy disputes, often bitter, are the stuff of democratic politics. Elections settle those battles, at least for a time, and Mr. Obama's victory in November has given him the right to change policies on interrogations, Guantanamo, or anything on which he can muster enough support. But at least until now, the U.S. political system has avoided the spectacle of a new Administration prosecuting its predecessor for policy disagreements. This is what happens in Argentina, Malaysia or Peru, countries where the law is treated merely as an extension of political power."
Winning for Obama is just NOT enough. I couldn't agree more...the elections do settle that battle. This truly shows Obama's LACK of experience in an executive position. Had he WON the position of CEO at a fortune 500 company and played the BLAME game and then up'd it one by trying to prove the guilt of the previous CEO, oh my, he'd be fired in a heart beat.
"If this analogy seems excessive, consider how Mr. Obama has framed the issue. He has absolved CIA operatives of any legal jeopardy, no doubt because his intelligence advisers told him how damaging that would be to CIA morale when Mr. Obama needs the agency to protect the country. But he has pointedly invited investigations against Republican legal advisers who offered their best advice at the request of CIA officials."
"Your intelligence indicates that there is currently a level of 'chatter' equal to that which preceded the September 11 attacks," wrote Assistant Attorney General Jay Bybee, in his August 1, 2002 memo. "In light of the information you believe [detainee Abu] Zubaydah has and the high level of threat you believe now exists, you wish to move the interrogations into what you have described as an 'increased pressure phase.'" I'm all about fair and humane treatment, but I'm thinking if pulling the fingernails off of Zubaydah would save just one American life... then go for it.
"So the CIA requests a legal review at a moment of heightened danger, the Justice Department obliges with an exceedingly detailed analysis of the law and interrogation practices -- and, seven years later, Mr. Obama says only the legal advisers who are no longer in government should be investigated. The political convenience of this distinction for Mr. Obama betrays its basic injustice. And by the way, everyone agrees that senior officials, including President Bush, approved these interrogations. Is this President going to put his predecessor in the dock too?" Personally I wouldn't put it past him. Obama seems to be playing the "rookie" and inexperienced CEO...make the previous guy look bad and my halo will shine. Hmm, this may end up biting Obama in the ass!
"Mr. Obama seemed to understand the peril of such an exercise when he said, before his inauguration, that he wanted to "look forward" and beyond the antiterror debates of the Bush years. As recently as Sunday, Rahm Emanuel said no prosecutions were contemplated and now is not a time for "anger and retribution." Two days later the President disavowed his own chief of staff. Yet nothing had changed except that Mr. Obama's decision last week to release the interrogation memos unleashed a revenge lust on the political left that he refuses to resist."
"Just as with the AIG bonuses, he is trying to co-opt his left-wing base by playing to it -- only to encourage it more. Within hours of Mr. Obama's Tuesday comments, Senator Carl Levin piled on with his own accusatory Intelligence Committee report. The demands for a "special counsel" at Justice and a Congressional show trial are louder than ever, and both Europe's left and the U.N. are signaling their desire to file their own charges against former U.S. officials."
"Those officials won't be the only ones who suffer if all of this goes forward. Congress will face questions about what the Members knew and when, especially Nancy Pelosi when she was on the House Intelligence Committee in 2002. The Speaker now says she remembers hearing about waterboarding, though not that it would actually be used. Does anyone believe that? Porter Goss, her GOP counterpart at the time, says he knew exactly what he was hearing and that, if anything, Ms. Pelosi worried the CIA wasn't doing enough to stop another attack. By all means, put her under oath." Pelosi watched a water boarding procedure along with Senator McCain, she is far from innocent...lets fry her ass too while we are at it!!!
"Mr. Obama may think he can soar above all of this, but he'll soon learn otherwise. The Beltway's political energy will focus more on the spectacle of revenge, and less on his agenda. The CIA will have its reputation smeared, and its agents second-guessing themselves. And if there is another terror attack against Americans, Mr. Obama will have set himself up for the argument that his campaign against the Bush policies is partly to blame."
"Above all, the exercise will only embitter Republicans, including the moderates and national-security hawks Mr. Obama may need in the next four years. As patriotic officials who acted in good faith are indicted, smeared, impeached from judgeships or stripped of their academic tenure, the partisan anger and backlash will grow. And speaking of which, when will the GOP Members of Congress begin to denounce this partisan scapegoating? Senior Republicans like Mitch McConnell, Richard Lugar, John McCain, Orrin Hatch, Pat Roberts and Arlen Specter have hardly been profiles in courage."
"Mr. Obama is more popular than his policies, due in part to his personal charm and his seeming goodwill. By indulging his party's desire to criminalize policy advice, he has unleashed furies that will haunt his Presidency."
Indeed it shall haunt his presidency. Enough of the blame game Mr. Obama, lets MOVE FORWARD as you promised while you campaigned. Once again I can only think that this administration is focusing so much of its attention on the previous administration.... hmmm makes one believe they are trying to take the focus off of the current administration. Not so well done Mr. Obama, I believe this one has come back to not only smack you in the face but shall stain your pretty little in-experienced, rookie attitudes.

Let's Call a Spade a Spade!
Sometimes, it's just best that when we write in a public paper, about a public event... well that we just do some investigation. I've included below an email I sent to Eugene Robinson of the Washington Post. Eugene,
Before you "write" an editorial or column I believe it is ALWAYS wise to get the FACTS! In your recent Washington Post article "Mad as Hell at Teatime" you reported:
"The made-for-television demonstrations in cities across the country were generally small, and the only thing they proved conclusively is that -- you might want to sit down -- some Americans don't much enjoy paying taxes. What the rallies suggested, however, is that opposition to the Obama administration is coalescing into what I would call a Howard Beale Faction, in honor of the choleric anchorman in the movie "Network" whose signature line now seems to have been elevated into philosophy: "I'm as mad as hell, and I'm not going to take this anymore!"
Let me correct you on THREE points in the above paragraph. FIRST - the "made-for-television" (yes I quote you on that one) were not "generally small", if you need pictures to see the CROWDS of individuals who attended...I'll be more than happy to supply those for you. SECOND the rallies were NOT about taxes. The rallies were about BIG GOVERNMENT SPENDING which will produce huge taxation for our children and grandchildren, and even ourselves. The current administration has already created huge deficits...need I tell you how much? THIRD - the tea parties are not about opposition to Obama... once again let me repeat myself, the tea parties were against huge spending bills....which....WE THE PEOPLE will have to pay.
"There was anger at hemorrhagic government spending, and this plotline in the mad-as-hell narrative at least made sense. A neutral observer might point out that the president who should have to answer for this year's astronomical $1.7 trillion deficit is George W. Bush, since this is his budget -- and since he's the one who hid the costs of our two faraway wars and demanded a king's ransom to bail out the banks. But it's not as if Obama is some kind of tightwad, given his decision -- which I support -- to push ahead with new spending on health care, education and energy. And anyway, in the worldview of the Howard Beale Faction, the important distinction isn't between one president and the next." It's between "us" and "them."
LOL I love it when OBVIOUS liberals BLAME this administration's spending on the last administration. I believe you failed to report the amount of Republican Congressmen who voted against both the Stimulus and the Omnibus bills. AND the worst mistake you made throughout YOUR editorial is that you used the word MAD six times, and ANGER 3 times. Obviously YOU didn't attend a "TEA PARTY" as your observation is WAY off from what REALLY was represented at the tea parties.
"A growing sense of us vs. them, of the little guy vs. the big guy, is out there waiting to be exploited by anyone clever enough to fashion a sophisticated populist critique of the Obama administration's policies. I know it seems crazy to use words like "clever" and "sophisticated" in connection with today's Republican Party, but stranger things have happened."
Fear breeds fear. Indeed your final summation certainly points to us vs. them. However your last sentence made me laugh out loud. I just didn't BELIEVE that people still "grouped people" in this day and age. I seriously thought bigotry and racism went out way back in the 60's. Indeed you might do a bit more RESEARCH before you WRITE about the next TEA PARTIES. I invite you to attend a 4th of July TEA PARTY in Dallas with me. I believe your eyes will be truly OPENED!
I look forward to seeing you in Dallas on the 4th of July!

Mitt Romney
Mitt Romney - A Timid Advocate of Freedom!I salute a man who believes in America!
A Timid Advocate of Freedom, President Obama has failed his early foreign-policy tests.
At last week’s Summit of the Americas, President Obama acquiesced to a 50-minute attack on America as terroristic, expansionist, and interventionist from Nicaraguan president Daniel Ortega. His response to Ortega’s denunciation of our effort to free Cuba from Castro’s dictatorship was that he shouldn’t be blamed “for things that happened when I was three months old.” Blamed? Hundreds of men, including Americans, bravely fought and died for Cuba’s freedom, heeding the call from newly elected president John F. Kennedy. But last week, even as American soldiers sacrificed blood in Afghanistan and Iraq to defend liberty, President Obama shrank from defending liberty here in the Americas.
In his first press interview as president, he confessed to Arabic television that America had “dictated” to other nations. No, Mr. President, America has fought to free other nations from dictators. And in Strasbourg, the president further claimed that America has “showed arrogance and been dismissive, even derisive.” London’s Daily Telegraph observed that President Obama “went further than any United States president in history in criticizing his own country’s action while standing on foreign soil.” Of course, it was not just the Daily Telegraph that was listening: People around the world who yearn for freedom, who count on America’s resolve and support, heard him as well. He was heard in China, in Tibet, in Sudan, in Burma, and, yes, in Cuba.
The words spoken by the leader of the free world can expand the frontiers of freedom or shrink them. When Ronald Reagan called on Gorbachev to “tear down this wall,” a surge of confidence rose that would ultimately breach the bounds of the evil empire. It was the same confidence that had been ignited decades earlier when John F. Kennedy declared to a people surrounded by Communism that they were not alone. “We are all Berliners,” he said, because “freedom is indivisible, and when one man is enslaved, all are not free.” Franklin Delano Roosevelt’s confident commitment, spoken as he led us into the war that would free millions in Europe, inspired not only Americans but freedom fighters around the globe: “The American people in their righteous might will win through to absolute victory.” Such words of solidarity, of confidence, and of unwavering conviction that America is indeed “the last best hope on earth” are what freedom’s friends would have expected to hear from our president when our nation was slandered. Instead he offered silence, smiles, and a handshake.
Even more troubling than what he has or has not said is what he has not done. Kim Jong Il launched a long-range missile on the very day President Obama addressed the world about the peril of nuclear proliferation. As one of the world’s most oppressive and tyrannical regimes is on the brink of securing the “game changing” capability to reach American shores with a nuclear weapon, the president shrinks from action: no seizure of North Korean funds, no severance of banking access, no blockade.
Not to be outdone by Kim Jong Il, President Ahmadinejad announced that his nation has successfully mastered every step necessary to enrich uranium, violating the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty it has signed. So, like North Korea, Iran will have changed the world’s equation for peace and security: It will be capable of devastating Europe and America, and of annihilating Israel. And as with North Korea, the Obama administration chooses inaction — no new severe sanctions, no hint of military options. Ahmadinejad can act with confidence that the forceful options once on our proverbial table have been shelved.
Vice President Biden was right that the new president would be tested early in his dministration. What the world learned was not good news for freedom and democracy. The leader of the free world has been a timid advocate of freedom at best. And bold action to blunt the advances of tyrants has been wholly lacking. We are still very early in the Obama years — the president will have ample opportunity to defend America and freedom, and to deter nuclear brinkmanship. I am hoping for change.
Mitt Romney, formerly the governor of Massachusetts, was a candidate for the Republican presidential nomination in 2008.
The Media Circus!
Once again the media has GONE WILD over Gov. Rick Perry's statement. Although Gov. Perry has laughed as he corrects the media about what he actually said, in comparison to what the left wing media nuts are saying he said. Well with that said, let me remind you that IF - Texas wanted to secede, they are the only state in the Union which legally can secede. ( Texas-American Annexation Treaty of 1848.) However what's even more funny is they are the ONLY state that could actually afford to! Lets look into HOW Texas would survive as it's on country....We Texans love y'all, but...
We'll probably have to take action since Barack Obama won the election. We'll miss you too. Here is what can happen:
1: Barack Hussein Obama becomes President of the United States , and Texas immediately secedes from the Union .
2: George W. Bush will become the President of the Republic of Texas . You might not think that he talks too pretty, but we haven't had another terrorist attack, and the economy was fine until the effects of the Democrats lowering the qualifications for home loans came to roost.
So what does Texas have to do to survive as a Republic?
1. NASA is just south of Houston, Texas. We will control the space industry.
2. We refine over 85% of the gasoline in the United States.
3. Defense Industry - we have over 65% of it. The term "Don't Mess with Texas" will take on a whole new meaning!
4. Oil - we can supply all the oil that the Republic of Texas will need for the next 300 years.
5. Natural Gas - again we have all we need and it's too bad about those Northern States. John Kerry and Al Gore will have to figure out a way to keep them warm....
6. Computer Industry - we lead the nation in producing computer chips and communications equipment -small companies like Texas Instruments, Dell Computer, EDS, Raytheon, National Semiconductor, Motorola, Intel, AMD, Atmel, Applied Materials, Ball Miconductor, Dallas Semiconductor, Nortel, Alcatel, etc. The list goes on and on.
7. Medical Care - We have the research centers for cancer research, the best burn centers and the top trauma units in the world, as well as other large health centers. The Houston Medical center alone employees over 65,000 people.
8. We have enough colleges to keep us getting smarter: University of Texas, Texas A&M, Texas Tech, Texas Christian, Rice, SMU, University of Dallas, University of Houston, Baylor, UNT University of North Texas), Texas Women's University, etc. Ivy grows better in the South anyway.
9. We have an intelligent and energetic work force, and it isn't restricted by a bunch of unions. Here in Texas , it's a Right to Work State and, therefore, it's every man and women for themselves. We just go out and get the job done. And if we don't like the way one company operates, we get a job somewhere else.
10. We have essential control of the paper, plastics, and insurance industries, etc.
11. In case of a foreign invasion, we have the Texas National Guard, the Texas Air National Guard, and several military bases. We don't have an Army, but since everybody down here has at least six rifles and a pile of ammo, we can raise an Army in 24 hours if we need one. If the situation really gets bad, we can always call the Department of Public Safety and ask them to send over the Texas Rangers.
12. We are totally self-sufficient in beef, poultry, hogs, and several types of grain, fruit and vegetables, and let's not forget seafood from the Gulf. Also, everybody down here knows how to cook them so that they taste good. Don't need any food.
13. Three of the ten largest cities in the United States , and twenty- three of the 100 largest cities in the United States , are located in Texas . And Texas also has more land than California, New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, Delaware, Hawaii, Massachusetts, Maryland, Rhode Island and Vermont combined.
14. Trade: Three of the ten largest ports in the United States are located in Texas .
15. We also manufacture cars down here, but we don't need to. You see, nothing rusts in Texas , so our vehicles stay beautiful and run well for decades.
This just names a few of the items that will keep the Republic of Texas in good shape. There isn't a thing out there that we need and don't have. Now to the rest of the United States under President Obama: Since you won't have the refineries to get gas for your cars, only President Obama will be able to drive around in his big 9 mpg SUV. The rest of the United States will have to walk or ride bikes. You won't have any TV as the Space Center in Houston will cut off satellite communications. You won't have any natural gas to heat your homes, but since Mr. Obama has predicted global warming, you will not need the gas as long as you survive the 2000 years it will take to get enough heat from Global Warming.
Signed,
The People of Texas
P.S. This is not a threatening letter- just a note to give you something to think about!
SLEEP WELL TONIGHT THE EYES OF TEXAS ARE UPON YOU.
DON'T MESS WITH TEXAS!
Thanks piscesXpisces for the letter!

Navy Seals vs. Pirates
VS
Having spoken to some SEAL pals here in Virginia Beach yesterday and asking why this thing dragged out for 4 days, I got the following:
1. BHO wouldn't authorize the DEVGRU/NSWC SEAL teams to the scene for 36 hours going against OSC (on scene commander) recommendation.
2. Once they arrived, BHO imposed restrictions on their ROE (rules of engagement)that they couldn't do anything unless the hostage's life was in "imminent" danger.
3. The first time the hostage jumped, the SEALS had the raggies all sighted in, but could not fire due to ROE restriction.
4. When the navy RIB (rigid inflatable boat) came under fire as it approached with supplies, no fire was returned due to ROE restrictions. As the raggies were shooting at the RIB, they were exposed and the SEALS had them all dialed in.
5. BHO specifically denied two rescue plans developed by the Bainbridge CPN and SEAL teams.
6. Bainbridge CPN and SEAL team CDR finally decide they have the OpArea and OSC authority to solely determine risk to hostage. 4 hours later, 3 dead raggies.
7. BHO democrats immediately claimscredit for BHO's "daring and decisive" behaviour.
I'm downgrading Oohbaby's performace to D-. Only reason it's not an F is that the hostage survived.
Read the following accurate account.
Philips’ first leap into the warm, dark water of the Indian Ocean hadn’t worked out as well. With the Bainbridge in range and a rescue by his country’s Navy possible, Philips threw himself off of his lifeboat prison, enabling Navy shooters on board the destroyer a clear shot at his captors — and none was taken.
The guidance from National Command Authority — the president of the United States, Barack Obama — had been clear: a peaceful solution was the only acceptable outcome to this standoff unless the hostage’s life was in clear, extreme danger.
The next day, a small Navy boat approaching the floating raft was fired on by the Somali pirates — and again no fire was returned and no pirates killed. This was again due to the cautious stance assumed by Navy personnel thanks to the combination of a lack of clear guidance from Washington and a mandate from the commander in chief’s staff not to act until Obama, a man with no background of dealing with such issues and no track record of decisiveness, decided that any outcome other than a “peaceful solution” would be acceptable.
After taking fire from the Somali kidnappers again Saturday night, the on scene commander decided he’d had enough. Keeping his authority to act in the case of a clear and present danger to the hostage’s life and having heard nothing from Washington since yet another request to mount a rescue operation had been denied the day before, the Navy officer — unnamed in all media reports to date — decided the AK47 one captor had leveled at Philips’ back was a threat to the hostage’s life and ordered the NSWC team to take their shots.
Three rounds down range later, all three brigands became enemy KIA and Philips was safe. There is upside, downside, and spin side to the series of events over the last week that culminated in yesterday’s dramatic rescue of an American hostage.
Almost immediately following word of the rescue, the Obama administration and its supporters claimed victory against pirates in the Indian Ocean and [1] declared that the dramatic end to the standoff put paid to questions of the inexperienced president’s toughness and decisiveness.
Despite the Obama administration’s (and its sycophants’) attempt to spin yesterday’s success as a result of bold, decisive leadership by the inexperienced president, the reality is nothing of the sort. What should have been a standoff lasting only hours — as long as it took the USS Bainbridge and its team of NSWC operators to steam to the location — became an embarrassing four day and counting standoff between a ragtag handful of criminals with rifles and a U.S. Navy warship.
I thank a very dear friend of mine for this accurate post of the outstanding job the Navy did in handling this situation. Rock on Navy!

This post is from a friend of mine.... Chris! The fact that I am forwarding this should show you and anyone that reads this that I "AM an American First" Ethnicity always comes second I was "Born Here".
If you wonder why I harp on that, I'm tired of the rants about Puertorican's being the butt of Mexican, Salvadoran, Cuban, and any other hispanic's rant. Puertorico is a commonwealth of the U.S.A. I was born in the U.S.A. AND I am a citizen. I served in our armed forces and went to college on the G.I. bill .
I work for my money just like you and my opinions, and my political views are mine and mine alone. If you don't like how I feel tough, It's still a free country. And until you take my last breath from me I will watch FOX news channel and exercise my god given right to free speech (because I participated in a TEA Party) right here in NYC.
Let me be the first to affirm there were more than Conservatives at that rally. I aw Republicans, Democrats, Independents, there all protesting the economic policies of the Obama dministration. Americans tired of being taxed too much for too little in return.
Granted the economic climate is not the best... but that's what President Obama promised to fix is it not ? Maybe if he took the time to stop being the rockstar camera hungry hound he is he would find the time to deal with real "AMERICAN PROBLEMS" and we could fix this problem instead of just passing the debt for this problem on to our grand and great grand children.
There is a solution and in my god's given opinion, President Obama is clueless. That's all I have to say on the subject. GN all its 3:40 am here and I am tired just needed to clear my thoughts.

Rosa Brooks! Say it ain't so!!!!!
LOL, Rosa Brooks... are you kidding me?Say it ain't so! Rosa Brooks? no way, now how is she qualified... no I didn't just read this? Rosa Brooks the wacko (see pic to verify this) far, far left-wing columnist of the LA Times?
Ok seriously is Obama running out of people and filling positions with JUST anyone. I mean she was hired as the "Advisor to the Under Secretary of Defense".
Oh my, I don't recall that Brooks has any, I mean ZERO experience or relevant national security qualifications. However I do RECALL that she has experience working for George Soros's Open Society Institute. (How funny Soros's name just keeps on creeping up all over the Obama administration).
And lets also not forget that Rosa was also a former adviser to Harold Koh... you know the HUGELY controversial nominee for legal adviser to the state department.
As time goes on, these appointments are becoming scarier and scarier. I mean I'm not understanding how Rosa's take on Pres. Bush as the "Torturer in Chief" fits in with Obama's bipartisanship plans.
It's a bit scary when Rosa writes remarks about the Iraqi war like this:
"It's a good thing our troops have The Google over there - like Bush, they can use Google maps to recall how their hometowns look and wonder if they're going to make it back before this administration sends them on any more misconceived missions." She further argued that "with so many thousands dead, and so many thousands more embittered, 'winning' isn't really on the table anymore. The only question now is whether we can mitigate the damage."
Oh my, I certainly hope she doesn't look at Afghanistan with those same views. Once again WHERE is the outrage? Why are the American Media outlets not questioning this appointment as well as others?
I ask again: WHERE IS THE OUTRAGE?

SAY it AIN'T SO ACORN!
Remember way, way back in the fall when the democrats scorned republicans; saying that ACORN was for both sides of the aisle? Well that's indeed a huge pile of liberal bullshit!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Let me let you be the judge of what ACORN says:
"What would a party be without party poopers?
As anti-tax protesters organize tea parties across the country on April 15, rumors are swirling that a backlash is brewing.
Some believe ACORN, which has been under scrutiny for accusations of voter fraud, is preparing to crash some of the tea parties. But ACORN says it is only helping to organize dozens of rallies on the same day in support of President Obama's first budget.
"This is the first we've heard of these so-called 'tea parties.' And, frankly, a bunch of small get-togethers by fringe conservative activists dedicated to simply saying 'no' is of little interest to us," said ACORN spokesman Brian Kettenring."
WAIT....what did the ACORN spokesman say? WHAT? ACORN is only helping to organize dozens of rallies in support of OBAMA? I guess the billions Obama paid them are certainly paying off. Dream on liberals, we didn't believe prior to the election and we certainly aren't believing it now!
ACORN BIPARTISAN......BULLSHIT!

LOL, makes you just wanna laugh! In all seriousness the Dept. of Homeland Security put out an "all points bulletin". LMAO, I'm sorry I can't be serious about this.
Ok let me cut and past some of the KEY wording of this document. "The DHS/Office of Intelligence and Analysis (I&A) has no specific information that domestic rightwing* terrorists are currently planning acts of violence, but rightwing extremists may be gaining new recruits by playing on their fears about several emergent issues. The economic downturn and the election of the first African American president present unique drivers for rightwing radicalization and recruitment."
LOL...ok this is too funny, Obama just announced he refuses to use the term "war on terror" but by God he can call right wing....terrorist.... oh this is too funny. Terrorists? are you kidding me. Oh lets continue ....I can't stop laughing.
"Rightwing extremists are harnessing this historical election as a recruitment tool. Many rightwing extremists are antagonistic toward the new presidential administration and its perceived stance on a range of issues, including immigration and citizenship, the expansion of social programs to minorities, and restrictions on firearms ownership and use. Rightwing extremists are increasingly galvanized by these concerns and leverage them as drivers for recruitment. From the 2008 election timeframe to the present, rightwing extremists have capitalized on related racial and political prejudices in expanded propaganda campaigns, thereby reaching out to a wider audience of potential sympathizers."
"Most statements by rightwing extremists have been rhetorical, expressing concerns about the election of the first African American president, but stopping short of calls for violent action. In two instances in the run-up to the election, extremists appeared to be in the early planning stages of some threatening activity targeting the Democratic nominee, but law enforcement
interceded."
Ok, I seriously cannot go on. I will post the report and you can read it all by yourself. I'm just WONDERING can any of you liberals understand what is going on here. This report was issued last week in lieu of the upcoming Tea Parties!
HELLO....we are not right wing extremist, we are not terrorist.... we are honest working American citizens having an old fashioned tea party to let our government KNOW.... enough with the spending. We are fed up with this administration's exuberant spending. Enough is enough. This tea party is about the taxes we will have to pay, our children will have to pay and our children's children will have to pay. No one can tell me we won't be taxed out the kazoo to try to repay this deficit.
I hope all of you WATCH the Americans who stand united against big government spending. Tell me again we are terrorists.
GET A FRIGGIN CLUE!
I'm going to bed now, of course I'm taking my guns and bible I cling to with me. Yeah you lefty's ....gotta love your good ole' sayings.

JUST TWO MORE DAYS!

Everyone has to do their part!

Yes we are in a recession and I can fix it, but they means we will all have to make sacrifices.
Yes indeedy I do believe those were similar words to which Obama spoke when he gave his acceptance speech.
Yes we must all make our own sacrifices in the coming months. I mean this is the worst recession and if we don't all pitch in, well, well we may just not make it out of this awful recession.
Oh I'm sorry I had a brain fart, THAT was Obama's speech BEFORE his two big spending packages were passed. Yes I remember now, two days AFTER the 2nd bill - the Omnibus bill passed Obama said ....Oh it appears this economy is not as bad as we thought it was.
Hmmm, while other people are losing their jobs, cutting back on expenses.... well Mr. Obama hasn't quite caught on to that. Indeed he is the POTUS, he should eat cake... oops I mean pizza, from a pizza maker 800 plus miles away. I don't think I can go on, Mr. Obama you shall eat cake....at whatever expense that shall be. Good Going Goofy!

To bow or not to bow...that is the question!
Americans laughed, so the NEXT day the White House says that Obama didn't bow, he was just leaning over to shake the hand of a much shorter man.
Oh my, now watch the video above and tell me that the Queen....is not a shorty, and oh my my...no bow needed to shake her hand!
I swear the WH needs to get their lies on the same band wagon. It's awful embarrasing when one day they say one thing and the next day someone else in the WH says another. Lets face it....OBAMA BOWED!!!!!
Socialism Vs. Capitolism

In the left corner...weighing in as a 95 lb weakling we have socialism... and in the right corner we have the hot, hot, hot totally buffed capitalism.....
Recently Rasmussen polled 1,000 Americans on what they preferred....capitalism vs. socialism. Now please note they did NOT define either during the poll. Now this does give us a "heads up" since we all know that Obama voters are clueless. So the figures could be a bit confused on the left side.
The poll of a 1000 adults nationwide conducted this Monday and Tuesday revealed (+ or - 3%):
- Asked whether capitalism or socialism is a better system, 53% of American adults cited capitalism, 20% said socialism and 27% said they weren't sure.
- Adults over 40 strongly favor capitalism, while adults under 30 are essentially evenly divided.
- Republicans - by an 11-to-1 margin - believe capitalism is superior to socialism.
- Democrats are much more closely divided, with 39% preferring capitalism and 30% backing socialism.
- Investors by a 5-to-1 margin said capitalism is better than socialism
We are totally screwed with the dems in charge!

"Fantasy Foreign Policy"
Newt! Say it like it is!Yeah baby! Newsmax.com reports: "Former House Speaker Newt Gingrich says President Barack Obama is making some dangerous choices in rejecting the anti-terrorism policies of the Bush administration and backing down from confronting North Korea over its threatening missile program."
I have to totally agree with good ole' Newt... you just don't let N. Korea get away with launching a missile.
Newsmax.com further reports: "Moreover, the effort to treat terrorism as a criminal justice problem – rather than an act of war – will only bog the country down in pursuit of enemy combatants, Gingrich fears. "
"Pointing to what he described as a “vivid demonstration of weakness in foreign policy” the former House speaker said Obama’s actions, including his proposal for a resumption of nuclear arms limitation talks, reflect “a dangerous fantasy that runs an enormous risk. "
I couldn't of said this better myself... “The embarrassing repudiation of the United States appeal to the United Nations Security Council Sunday afternoon is a vivid demonstration of weakness,” Gingrich said in the Politico forum. “This is beginning to resemble the Carter administration’s weakness in foreign policy.”
I'm all about peace but seriously are we laying down to other world countries. I mean I seriously respect peace over war, but are we showing too much weakness with Obama's NEW USA image?
Like Newt said, are we going to have another UN meeting to draft another paper resolution which has no effect? Lets face it, N. Korea is run by a dictatorship and a dictator which is way out of touch with reality!
It's great to be back, and thanks for all the concern about Sadie, she is resting comfortably and should be back to her old self in about two weeks!
