Remember just a few months back, during campaign 2008, John McCain's health care plan included taxation of the employee's benefits.Do you also remember every single democrat on news stations, news papers, bloggers and Internet chat rooms cried "OH MY GOSH, tax our health care benefits?"
Remember also how many times Obama bashed John McCain for wanting to tax our health care benefits, every speech he made, during the debates, his TV ads, and on his website.
Well guess what? Yep you guessed it, Obama wants to tax YOUR health care benefits too! I'll let you read what the New York times said yesterday:
WASHINGTON — The Obama administration is signaling to Congress that the president could support taxing some employee health benefits, as several influential lawmakers and many economists favor, to help pay for overhauling the health care system.
The proposal is politically problematic for President Obama, however, since it is similar to one he denounced in the presidential campaign as “the largest middle-class tax increase in history.” Most Americans with insurance get it from their employers, and taxing workers for the benefit is opposed by union leaders and some businesses.
The funny part IS, John McCain was going to TAX your health benefits, in exchange he was going to give all families a tax credit to subsidize the purchase of coverage. NOW you libtards may get your health benefits taxed...with no tax credit. Good going Obama!!!!

DIANA: IDLE Speculation as Usual. Anything Obama gets passed will be fair, equitable and to the benefit on the many- not only the few as is the Republican way. The 48 million Americans left uninsured and neglected by team Bush will not remain under-served under Obama's watch.
lol SEP...wow did you stand up and salute when you said that. lmao.. he's a liar, a scammer and a shame to our country. A man's word is his honor.
He spent half his campaign bashing McCain for his health plan, and looky looky, he's gonna step right on up and grab McCain's ideas, that he bashed so horridly during the campaign. Oh now that is honor.
You aholes keep playing catch-up trying to torpedo Obama on his every spoken syllable. Not in office more than 12 weeks, Obama is not hung up on being a stiff ideological "stay the course" idiot like Bush was- headed right for the friggan iceberg, it was always "stay the course"... well look where we landed. As Bush was walking (and whistling) out of the white house door, Job losses were reaching record levels, the economy was in free fall, Businesses collapsing, Americans losing their homes... you folks keep throwing your spitballs from the sidelines-it's amusing to watch your knit-picky desperation. While you try to bring the president down, Your party is in complete leaderless disarray. You folks have no vision and no message. You struck out at your turn out bat and now are rooting for your own team (the president) to lose. What a bunch of sorry saps. America has moved way past the party that sucks. Hapless bunch of GOP fools.
LOL Sep you seriously know how to turn on a rant. Obviously the fact that O-no-obama is now going to do one the the things he totally bashed John McCain for... has really got your temper sky rocketing.
hehe
Diana- Obama ran on a platform of bi-partisanship you dolt. You should be celebrating when he finds any wisdom in supporting right wing positions he may agree with on - not ridiculing that. You really need to grow up..at 50, you don't really have that much time left.
lol sep... bipartisanship lmao. he dogged...double dogged taxing health benefits. Hear his words.. And sen. mccain wants to tax YOUR health benefits. Every stage, every commercial... lol you betcha.
You're grasping!
lol grasping... oh I think not. What you want me to post the TV ads? lol
Yes, Post away... The less time you spend creating new strawmen and red herrings- the better!
