In the left corner...weighing in as a 95 lb weakling we have socialism... and in the right corner we have the hot, hot, hot totally buffed capitalism.....
Recently Rasmussen polled 1,000 Americans on what they preferred....capitalism vs. socialism. Now please note they did NOT define either during the poll. Now this does give us a "heads up" since we all know that Obama voters are clueless. So the figures could be a bit confused on the left side.
The poll of a 1000 adults nationwide conducted this Monday and Tuesday revealed (+ or - 3%):
- Asked whether capitalism or socialism is a better system, 53% of American adults cited capitalism, 20% said socialism and 27% said they weren't sure.
- Adults over 40 strongly favor capitalism, while adults under 30 are essentially evenly divided.
- Republicans - by an 11-to-1 margin - believe capitalism is superior to socialism.
- Democrats are much more closely divided, with 39% preferring capitalism and 30% backing socialism.
- Investors by a 5-to-1 margin said capitalism is better than socialism
We are totally screwed with the dems in charge!

That was a typo..put a 3 in front of the 50 and you get the whole US population of 350 million... a sampling of one thousand being asked a phony question (most of the 100 could probably not define capitalism-let alone socialism)

Don't kid yourself Diana- you can multiply the number of Americans that were rooting for Obama world-wide. In the Billions. The Victory was theirs and they (we) are not going to let the victory be sapped by a small cadre of sniveling snot-nosed republicans who when they had the chance to serve, only served themselves. They may wave teabags and dump it into the sea- but those are hollow gestures coming from hollow people and the world moves on without them.
