Hi all! Ok I just watched the segment of Glenn Beck with Rush Limbaugh in on the phone and I gotta say, the presence of a Great Moderator the likes of Rush Limbaugh only makes me question "My Government more". People let me tell you I am scared, as scared as Beck, or Limbaugh, or Hannity, or Levin. All great commentators all carrying the same message. "Beware the Obama Administration" they are Leftists, they are socialists and the time for America to wake up is NOW!

I am a nobody, I work for the very government they are speaking of, yet I am very afraid that the country I know and love is "Changing into something radically different" from what I grew to love.

I have put my very life in harms way for this country and yet it seems I being a now middle aged man may have to do it all again. So be it, (Que sera, Sera) I have done it before I will do it again.

If you doubt what I am saying alls you have to do is go to this website and it's where I pick up Beck at 9, Rush at 12, Schnit at 3, Hannity at 6, and Levin at 9. http://www.newsradio970wfla.com/ a conservative news website I forget what kind of radio they call this. Oh yeah Sirius radio or whatever.

I have done my part as far as educating those around me and I do the best that I can as far as educating those of you that know me online. Our message is as important today as
Paul Revere's Ride telling you the "British are Coming"! Only it's not the "British" this time around it's the "SOCIALISTS", it's the "PROGRESSIVES", it's the very people you elected coming to destroy the very freedom's you and I have grown to love and enjoy.

I had someone on this thread ask me today what a Progressive Conservative is?, and I thought to myself could it not be any clearer than an United States Senator Arlen Specter, Pennsylvania : Home.

Here you have a clear example of what a "Progressive Conservative" is. An elected official that is unwilling to accept that his "Seat of Power" may be lost due to the unpopularity of the direction this Country is being led. There are others but I wont delve into them, the person that asked may want to but I don't.

Let me tell you, elected office should not and never was intended to be a "Career Move" it was meant as a means of the everyday citizen to have his or her voice heard in Government.

These elected officials got used to a temporary position and act as if "We the People" no longer matter. Sorry wrong answer, and there is a price to pay. It's called elections.
They think they were elected to these offices to dictate, when in reality they were elected to, (and I emphasise) "REPRESENT" their constituents!


Nothing more, Nothing less! It's high time we as Americans remind all elected officials that "You were not elected to sit on high and Dictate, you were elected to Represent. Period end of story!

How much clearer can it be than what I heard while I was watching a segment of Hannity today, when I heard one guy call out at a Town Hall Meeting the following : "You work for us!, We don't work for you"!

People it's time we start holding these "Elitists" feet to the fire and remind them they were ordinary citizens before they were elected to represent us and that you will be an ordinary citizen after you have left office. Let's please try and remember the tyranny from which we came when there was a need for organizations such as this because if we don't we are going to need them again. Steele, in Little Rock today with the topic of the agenda: Healthcare!

Steele said the group told him that they “want to see the members of Congress get something done” but that they are “tired of the propaganda” and “did not want to forget the human point of view.”

“This is an opportunity for people not to just talk about bipartisanship but to do it,” said Steele. “But it is tough to be bipartisan when your team is not allowed on the playing field…. Let’s be serious, you’re telling me at 100 amendments offered by Republican on that House Committee and not one of them is worthy of inclusion in the house bill.” Yes, you read that correctly....100 friggin amendments... the democrats said... thanks...but no thanks. Come on liberals ...call a spade a spade!!!

Chairman Steele became quite animated when asking about the possibility being discussed of passing the health care bill in the Senate without the sixty votes needed to close debate. “Do it!” said Steele. “We are down 20 votes in the Senate, 78 in the house. Don’t come up in my face talking about how I’m an obstacle and we’re blocking this process. You’ve got the votes Mr. President; pass the bill.” Banging his hand on the table, Steele challenged Obama saying, “Get it to the floor; up or down, baby. And if don’t think you’ve got the votes, enough votes to get to sixty, you’ve got the nuclear option, do 51.”

As an explanation as to why the bill has not been passed, Steele said, “Because they know it is poisonous. And they know the American people will not tolerate it. And they are scrambling now. And they are beginning to turn on each other.”

LOL I guess Steele shoved some facts down the throats of those bleeding, crybaby, whining liberals!

Everyone is a bit disturbed about the number of Czars that obama has picked.... Even good ole' democrat Byrd has called Obama on the Czars! Wow, Obama is scaring his own party.

Robert Byrd, the longest serving senator in history, criticized President Obama's appointment of numerous White House advisors, also called "czars," saying the presence of the czars gives the president too much power.These czars report directly to Mr. Obama and have the power to shape national policy on their subject area.

So far, Mr. Obama has recruited czars on health reform, urban affairs policy, and energy and climate change. Unlike Cabinet secretaries, they do not have to be approved by Congress.In a letter to Obama on Wednesday, Byrd, a Democrat, said that the czar system "can threaten the Constitutional system of checks and balances," (NO KIDDING) Politico reported.

Byrd added that oversight of federal agencies is the responsibility of officials approved by the Senate."As presidential assistants and advisers, these White House staffers are not accountable for their actions to the Congress, to cabinet officials, or to virtually anyone but the president," Byrd wrote. "They rarely testify before congressional committees, and often shield the information and decision-making process behind the assertion of executive privilege. In too many instances, White House staff have been allowed to inhibit openness and transparency, and reduce accountability."

Byrd has been a longtime critic of policies that concentrate power in the executive branch. He often fought with the Bush Administration and Wednesday's letter shows that he doesn't mind going after a president from his own party.These days, however, Byrd’s comments have less force as he is no longer the chairman of the powerful Senate Appropriations Committee.

Obama told his audiences he is trying to reach across the aisle to craft a bipartisan plan, even as he blamed Republicans for delay. He peppered his DNC remarks with jokes and jabs at conservatives that had the partisan crowd breaking into applause and laughter.

In response, a spokesman for the No. 2 Republican in the House said he had a question for Obama and his team.

"We would love to know when, exactly — time, date, place — the president or his staff reached out to Republican leaders?" said Brad Dayspring, a spokesman for Rep. Eric Cantor, R-Va.

Republican leaders in May sent Obama a letter outlining the GOP's principles and asking to collaborate.

"And the president's response?" Dayspring said. "Meeting? Nah. Work together? No thanks. Further discussion? Nope. Instead, they went with, 'Thanks for the letter.'"

Obama's environmental czar started group targeting Beck
Attacks follow Fox News host's reporting of White House adviser's radical activism

President Obama's "green jobs czar" is co-founder of a black activist organization that has led a campaign prompting major advertisers to withdraw from Glenn Beck's top-rated Fox News Channel program.

In recent weeks, Beck has done several critical segments about Van Jones, who was appointed as the special adviser for green jobs, enterprise and innovation at the White House Council on Environmental Quality.

Beck's segments were based in part on WND's reporting that Jones was as an admitted radical communist and black nationalist leader.

Now Colors of Change, an activist organization seeking to "strengthen Black America's political voice" has led a furious campaign against Beck culminating in major companies such as Geico and Lawyers.com pulling their spots from the Fox News star's daily show. The group also says it has garnered about 75,000 signatories for an online petition against Beck to be sent to advertisers.

Colors of Change says the controversy stems from Beck's recent comment while a guest on another Fox News show that Obama is a "racist" with "a deep-seated hatred for white people."

Bill Shine of Fox News' programming department clarified Beck was expressing "a personal opinion which represented his own views, not those of the Fox News Channel. And as with all commentators in the cable news arena, he is given the freedom to express his opinions."

Enough is Enough!!! I ask that you join in and stop the madness. If these companies are going to lean to the left... they have the possibility of losing a lot of customers from the right. Thanks "TheRightWingM" for the below info on the CEO's of these companies.

The best response is to remind all of these companies that there will be repercussions from our side if they are so willing to become pawns of the left.

I've heard everything from Fox news is leading a revolt or that republicans are being inspired by a conservative activist group promoted by Fox News host Glenn Beck and even county republican parties.

LET ME MAKE THIS PERFECTLY CLEAR. FIRST... WE HAVE BRAINS AND WE USE THEM AND WE THINK FOR OURSELVES. I PERSONALLY DON'T NEED ANYONE TO INSPIRE MY OPINION OF HEALTH CARE REFORM. ALL I HAD TO DO WAS TO READ THE BILL.... AND I HAVEN'T MADE IT ALL THE WAY THROUGH THE 1100+ BILL.

Ok, this is way too funny! The POTUS is telling Americans to "tell" on their friends and neighbors! Yes you heard me correctly. Now I can remember in 1st grade one of the first things our teacher taught us was NOT to be tattletales.

I don't know what school Mr. Obama attended but they obviously DID NOT teach him NOT to be a tattletale. John Cornyn, Texas Senator is outraged and has written a letter to the President.

Below is the article from the Dallas Morning News:

Sen. John Cornyn, accusing the White House of compiling an "enemies list" on health care, is asking President Barack Obama to cease a new program to have Americans send "fishy" information on health care to the White House.

Cornyn, the Texas Republican who leads his party's Senate campaign effort, said he's concerned that citizen engagement on health care reform could be "chilled."

"By requesting that citizens send "fishy" emails to the White House, it is inevitable that the names, email addresses, IP addresses, and private speech of U.S. citizens will be reported to the White House," Cornyn wrote to Obama. "I can only imagine the level of justifiable outrage had your predecessor asked Americans to forward emails critical of his policies to the White House." (I couldn't of said it better Mr. Cornyn)

UPDATE: The White House has weighed in. Spokesman Adam Abrams said that the administration wants to fight information that is "intentionally misleading."

"We want to be sure people have the facts about health insurance reform that will lower costs, protect consumers from insurance regulations that deny them coverage and assure quality and affordable health care for all Americans," Abrams said. "We are not compiling lists or sources of information. We may post fact checks from time to time to be sure Americans know the truth about health insurance reform." (Don't even for a minute believe they aren't tracking who you are).


Senator Corynyn's letter to the President:

Dear President Obama,
I write to express my concern about a new White House program to monitor American citizens' speech opposing your health care policies, and to seek your assurances that this program is being carried out in a manner consistent with the First Amendment and America's tradition of free speech and public discourse.

Yesterday, in an official White House release entitled "Facts are Stubborn Things," the White House Director of New Media, Macon Phillips, asserted that there was "a lot of disinformation out there," and encouraged citizens to report "fishy" speech opposing your health care policies to the White House. Phillips specifically targeted private, unpublished, even casual speech, writing that "rumors often travel just below the surface via chain emails or through casual conversation." Phillips wrote "If you get an email or see something on the web about health insurance reform that seems fishy, send it to flag@whitehouse.gov."

I am not aware of any precedent for a President asking American citizens to report their fellow citizens to the White House for pure political speech that is deemed "fishy" or otherwise inimical to the White House's political interests.

By requesting that citizens send "fishy" emails to the White House, it is inevitable that the names, email addresses, IP addresses, and private speech of U.S. citizens will be reported to the White House. You should not be surprised that these actions taken by your White House staff raise the specter of a data collection program. As Congress debates health care reform and other critical policy matters, citizen engagement must not be chilled by fear of government monitoring the exercise of free speech rights.

I can only imagine the level of justifiable outrage had your predecessor asked Americans to forward emails critical of his policies to the White House. I suspect that you would have been leading the charge in condemning such a program--and I would have been at your side denouncing such heavy-handed government action.(Amen!)

So I urge you to cease this program immediately. At the very least, I request that you detail to Congress and the public the protocols that your White House is following to purge the names, email addresses, IP addresses, and identities of citizens who are reported to have engaged in "fishy" speech. And I respectfully request an answer to the following:

· How do you intend to use the names, email addresses, IP addresses, and identities of citizens who are reported to have engaged in "fishy" speech?

· How do you intend to notify citizens who have been reported for "fishy" speech?· What action do you intend to take against citizens who have been reported for engaging in "fishy" speech?

· Do your own past statements qualify as "disinformation"? For example, is it "disinformation" to note that in 2003 you said: "I happen to be a proponent of a single-payer universal health care plan"?

Obama, speaking at SEIU's New Leadership Health Care Forum on March 24, 2007, said, "My commitment is to make sure that we have universal healthcare for all Americans by the end of my first term as President."

But I don't think we're going to be able to eliminate employer coverage immediately. There's going to be potentially some transition process.

Where is the public outrage? How can this man who does nothing but lie ....be our President?

And then in the left ring we have Geithner saying .... yes Obama may have to raise taxes to pay the deficit.

AND IN THE CENTER RING WE HAVE: OBAMA! The best circus act around. Indeed he can smile, and has the wave down pat, and performs well with a teleprompter. Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls, in the center ring we have Obama.... calling his top guys....LIARS. Obama says - I will not raise middle America's taxes!

Wow these two guys test the waters well for Obama. Expect a tax increase Americans... by January 2010....if not sooner!!!!
