LOL, I love it! I totally love it, the Democrats are whining that the Republcians are blocking the healthcare bill? I think Michael Steele put an end to that bit of blatent lies.
Steele, in Little Rock today with the topic of the agenda: Healthcare!
Steele said the group told him that they “want to see the members of Congress get something done” but that they are “tired of the propaganda” and “did not want to forget the human point of view.”
“This is an opportunity for people not to just talk about bipartisanship but to do it,” said Steele. “But it is tough to be bipartisan when your team is not allowed on the playing field…. Let’s be serious, you’re telling me at 100 amendments offered by Republican on that House Committee and not one of them is worthy of inclusion in the house bill.” Yes, you read that correctly....100 friggin amendments... the democrats said... thanks...but no thanks. Come on liberals ...call a spade a spade!!!

Chairman Steele became quite animated when asking about the possibility being discussed of passing the health care bill in the Senate without the sixty votes needed to close debate. “Do it!” said Steele. “We are down 20 votes in the Senate, 78 in the house. Don’t come up in my face talking about how I’m an obstacle and we’re blocking this process. You’ve got the votes Mr. President; pass the bill.” Banging his hand on the table, Steele challenged Obama saying, “Get it to the floor; up or down, baby. And if don’t think you’ve got the votes, enough votes to get to sixty, you’ve got the nuclear option, do 51.”
As an explanation as to why the bill has not been passed, Steele said, “Because they know it is poisonous. And they know the American people will not tolerate it. And they are scrambling now. And they are beginning to turn on each other.”
