We'll start with a $100 dollar bill. Currently the largest U.S. denomination in general circulation. Most everyone has seen them, slighty fewer have owned them. Guaranteed to make friends wherever they go.
A packet of one hundred $100 bills is less than 1/2" thick and contains $10,000. Fits in your pocket easily and is more than enough for week or two of shamefully decadent fun.
Believe it or not, this next little pile is $1 million dollars (100 packets of $10,000). You could stuff that into a grocery bag and walk around with it.
While a measly $1 million looked a little unimpressive, $100 million is a little more respectable. It fits neatly on a standard pallet...
And $1 BILLION dollars... now we're really getting somewhere...
Next we'll look at ONE TRILLION dollars. This is that number we've been hearing so much about. What is a trillion dollars? Well, it's a million million. It's a thousand billion. It's a one followed by 12 zeros.
You ready for this?
Notice those pallets are double stacked.
...and remember those are $100 bills. So the next time you hear someone toss around the phrase "trillion dollars"... that's what they're talking about. (Thanks to pagetutor.com for the lesson)
Welcome all! I intend to keep the current administration honest, well along with some trashing the administration for the next four years. Indeed it shall be fun. Sit back, relax, enjoy and share in the bashing!

Nothing but the finest....for our friends in DC!
The Marriot in Copenhagen!
Nothing but the BEST for our government officials. I know that over the past year we have all tightened our belts and rethought our budgets. Companies everywhere have cut back budgets. One of the biggest and quickest and maybe most cost effective is cutting travel budgets for employees. But nooooooooo, not for this administration.
The recent Copenhagen Climate Summit is a perfect example of this administration exhibiting no sense of cutting back on the federal budget. Recently the "group expense" report was submitted by no other than our favorite Ms. Pelosi!
Ms. Pelosi submitted the group expense report but would not talk about it when a CBS producer tried to ask her. Our delegation stayed at the 5 star Marriot Copenhagen at the tune of $2200.00 per day per person. Total hotel, meeting rooms and "a couple" of $1,000-a-night hospitality suites topped $400,000.
Wow, almost half a million buckaroo's! Flights weren't cheap, either. Fifty-nine House and Senate staff flew commercial during the Copenhagen rush. They paid government rates -- $5-10,000 each -- totaling $408,064. Add three military jets -- $168,351 just for flight time -- and the bill tops $1.1 million dollars -- not including all the Obama administration officials who attended: well over 60. (oh... and even though some only stayed 2 nights...they were charged a 5 night minimum stay). Hotels charge for a 5 day minimum? Since when?
It took 59 house and senate staff and well over 60 obama administration officials to attend a climate summit? I believe CBS defined the 165 delegation as a "super sized" delegation. And golly oh gee whiz.
Good thing Obama called for a spending freeze yesterday!
I think it's too funny that Obama looked down upon the "Big 3" carmakers when they arrived in Washington in a private jet...but obviously didn't blink an eye at spending $2200.00 per night staying in the most expensive hotel...for 165 people. What? you want to argue that the Big 3 are going broke.... haha so is the US Govt. Hmmmmm

Just Say No!!!
Nothing can piss off a conservative more than the big unions in bed with the Democratic Leadership.
The Healthcare legislation currently in the house and senate calls for a 40% taxation on current "Cadillac Healthcare Plans". In typical liberal fashion all these plans will be taxed to help pay for the liberal healthcare plan.
Oh wait SCRATCH that. On January 14th Obama and his team of merry liberal democrats....BEHIND closed doors laid out a "sweetheart" deal for the Unions.
The 40 percent excise tax on what have come to be called "Cadillac" health-care plans would exempt collective-bargaining contracts covering government employees and other union members until Jan. 1, 2018. How sweet is that for BIG government and BIG unions. Ironic isn't it... the Unions and Government health care plans are the BIGGEST of these cadillac plans. This boils down to what's good for the goose isn't good for the gander.
I am OUTRAGED that these behind closed door negotiations are unfair and unbalanced. If we are going to TAX cadillac plans..... ALL cadillac plans should be taxed. PERIOD!!!!

Who would of thunk?
I am totally laughing my ass off as I watch the polls on this race.
First Coakley is +30 pts. ahead in the polls so she sits backs, relaxes, doesn't even campaign during the holidays.
Then she jumps to the forefront when she sees Brown is only 5 pts. behind in the polls. Then she starts the campaign smear ads... which I am proud to say that Brown has stood true and not resorted to smear tactics. (let's be honest.. the republicans love smear tatics...pisses me off). So cuddo's to Brown for remaining strong, proud and not just another blowhard trying to point out the faults of his opponent. That's right Brown... you stick to telling them your strong points.
I will totally laugh my ass off is Brown wins this election. It's been since the 70's since a republican was elected in old blue Mass. It's just too funny. I believe there is not a chance in hell that he will pull it out; and I'm sure the dems will rig the election, call for a run-off and then bring in all kinds of voter fraud. I'm high on my horse just laughing at Ted Kennedy's old seat close to being taken over by a republican. Now that is some funny shit!!!!!
LOL... news release this morning...Obama is going to campaign for Coakley this weekend. I think we just won this seat...LMAO!!!

War on Terror
As most of us sat cozy and warm with our families on Christmas morning sharing the gift of happiness and family.... that wasn't true for Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab.
He was sitting on a plane flying from Amersterdamn to the US of A, and he had hidden explosives sewn into the crotch of his underwear. His attempt failed thanks to some brave airline passengers.
His father warned the CIA over a month before the failed terrorist attack on December 25th, 2009. OOPs somehow the information was .... was.... was....er I'm attempting to say that there was a huge failure once again to secure our country.
Why do you think that over this year we have had so many terrorist attacks (yes the Ft. Hood incident was a terrorist attack)? I believe the number is at 6 at this time.
I look at Iran and North Korea who have launched missile after missile... this didn't happen on Bush's watch. N. Korea launched 0 missiles while Bush was President...but within one month of Obama taking over.... N. Korea launched 17 missiles. Hmmm wonder why that is so?
First Obama has become a World Appeaser and dear Lord everyone read that message loud and clear. Next Obama struck the words "War on Terror" from the WH. OOPS
Today both the US and the UK shut down the embassy's in Yemen. Hmmm Yemen... when exactly did Yemen become such an Al Qaeda hot spot. I know that this is the ancestral homeland of Osama Bin Ladin and was also the site of the 2000 Cole bombing. But why 10 years later is Yemen such a hot spot? Oh wait.... the GITMO detainees who were released are now in Yemen, obviously right back causing terror once again. And there are 60 more that are going to be released and sent to Yemen. NOW that's a huge problem. (Watch "This Week" episode for Sunday January 3, 2010 for the interview with Deputy National Security Adviser John Brennan).

This takes us back to GITMO and the wise decision to release the detainees. I wonder who came up with that BRIGHT idea! I'm a bit scared.... after 9/11 I was also scared but I quickly felt safe with the action of our CIC. Right now...I'm not feeling so safe.

Interpol WHAT????
I hope everyone had a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!!! I had a great Holiday and I welcome 2010.... it puts us one year closer to taking control from Obama the idiot!
I read this article from the Washington Examiner and I'm going to quote the full article. It's a bit scary and I am on board to say.... some questions need to be answered!
Obama gives Interpol free hand in U.S.
Examiner Editorial
December 30, 2009
No presidential statement or White House press briefing was held on it. In fact, all that can be found about it on the official White House Web site is the Dec. 17 announcement and one-paragraph text of President Obama's Executive Order 12425, with this innocuous headline: "Amending Executive Order 12425 Designating Interpol as a public international organization entitled to enjoy certain privileges, exemptions, and immunities."In fact, this new directive from Obama may be the most destructive blow ever struck against American constitutional civil liberties. No wonder the White House said as little as possible about it.
There are multiple reasons why this Obama decision is so deeply disturbing. First, the Obama order reverses a 1983 Reagan administration decision in order to grant Interpol, the International Criminal Police Organization, two key privileges. First, Obama has granted Interpol the ability to operate within the territorial limits of the United States without being subject to the same constitutional restraints that apply to all domestic law enforcement agencies such as the FBI. Second, Obama has exempted Interpol's domestic facilities -- including its office within the U.S. Department of Justice -- from search and seizure by U.S. authorities and from disclosure of archived documents in response to Freedom of Information Act requests filed by U.S. citizens. Think very carefully about what you just read: Obama has given an international law enforcement organization that is accountable to no other national authority the ability to operate as it pleases within our own borders, and he has freed it from the most basic measure of official transparency and accountability, the FOIA.
The Examiner has asked for but not yet received from the White House press office an explanation of why the president signed this executive order and who among his advisers was involved in the process leading to his doing so. Unless the White House can provide credible reasons to think otherwise, it seems clear that Executive Order 12425's consequences could be far-reaching and disastrous. To cite only the most obvious example, giving Interpol free rein to act within this country could subject U.S. military, diplomatic, and intelligence personnel to the prospect of being taken into custody and hauled before the International Criminal Court as "war criminals."
As National Review Online's Andy McCarthy put it, the White House must answer these questions: Why should we elevate an international police force above American law? Why would we immunize an international police force from the limitations that constrain the FBI and other American law-enforcement agencies? Why is it suddenly necessary to have, within the Justice Department, a repository for stashing government files that will be beyond the scrutiny of Congress, American law enforcement, the media, and the American people?
WHY? I'm assuming it's all in an effort to become a part of the ICC. The US is not apart of the Rome Statute - the UN treaty that established the International Criminal Court. Bush went one step further to ensure agreement from nations that they would expressly not detain or hand over to the ICC members of the United States armed forces.
