JOBS BILL........HUH

NOW WAIT A MINUTE.....

Monday the senate passed a JOB'S BILL.  And not just any jobs bill....but a $15 billion jobs bill.

Wait, I'm confused...didn't those nasty dems just pass a Stimulus Bill at the tune of almost 1 trillion buck-a-roos last year about this time.

And didn't they say that it would save jobs, add jobs, add more jobs, provide infrastructure to proved more jobs, keep unemployment under 8% , provide more jobs, save more jobs, save even more jobs, create jobs....

Ok I'm sure you get my point.  So the first billions didn't work so lets throw in 15 more billion dollars and see if we get it right this time.  Yes you knew it, I knew it and even THEY knew the stimulus with all of its pork spending would not create or save jobs or even make an impact on the recession.  However that is the stance Obama and the Senate Dems took last year.... telling us unless we pass this bill to help create jobs... we are on the verge of the deepest depression since... the depression.  Liar liars!

You guys are speaking out of both sides of your mouth.  ANYTHING to get your agenda passed.  You better hurry because time is running out.  November is just around the corner and we know there will be many funerals for both dem senators and congressmen.

And lets not forget to thank our RINO republican Senators for once again voting with the socialist democrats... yes yes they are familiar names, Olympia Snow and Susan Collins, however they had two other RINO's join in the ranks...George Voinovich of Ohio and Kit Bond of Missouri and lets really not forget the newest RINO of them all....Scott Brown.  Wow after just weeks he won the distinguished title.  Well done Scott!!

I'll be sure to give you my opinion of creating jobs later this week.  And I promise it won't cost you tax payers 15 billion buckaroo's!!!!!

Healthcare Summit...Obama Style!!!

I received an email from the group - Republican Party of Texas about the healthcare summit.  They put it so well I'm going to include the entire email here:

Health Care Summit: Facts vs Emotions

President, Democrats demagogue but fail to persuade

President Obama convened a bipartisan summit in Washington today under the guise of having an open, honest discussion of his health care reform plans. As the day wore on, it became clear that the president and his allies came to the table armed with little more than heart-rending anecdotes, while the Republicans engaged the debate with facts and logic.

When it was all said and done, the Democrats spent about twice as much time talking as the Republicans but said less than half as much that was useful for getting to real reform. House Speaker Nancy Pelosi made the bizarre and unfounded promise that the bloated health care bill would create millions of jobs, (everything the Democrats are doing are creating more jobs... where are the jobs?)  while Sen. Tom Harkin (D-IA) even more bizarrely tried to link the health care debate to segregation.

And as the summit progressed, Politico reported that the Democrats hadn't even intended for the summit to advance the debate at all: The Democrats actually planned to use the summit to make the Republicans look bad, and then introduce yet another big government power-grabbing bill next week. And they plan to ram it through by circumventing the normal legislative process via reconciliation.

Is this "change you can believe in?" No, it's just Democrats being Democrats, double dealing to empower themselves and increase the reach of government at every turn.

A solid majority of the American people want the current Democrat health care bills scrapped, and Congress to start over to come up with real reform that will actually help without bankrupting the country or raising everyone's health care costs and taxes. The Democrats' bills will not do this: It's time to junk them and start over.

Today's summit showed that the Democrats aren't about to give up on their dream of growing government power over all our lives via their health care plans. Help us fight them at every turn. Help us keep telling the Obama Democrats to keep their hands off our health care, and keep their hands off Texas.

America has spoken LOUD AND CLEAR.... seems this administration is ignoring Americans.  I hope the Democrats use reconcilliation to blast this new bill created behind closed doors.  It will end their careers.... November '10 will be even more blissful than predicted.

Can you spell R E L I E F....oops I meant Stimulus!

Yes I can just see all those pot hole pluggers with PHD's and Master degrees out there plugging the pot holes.  I'm sure they are lined up waiting to be hired.

It's amazing.... but the stimulus didn't create new jobs.... I'm not sure it even saved jobs.  I am sure it added to our deficit!

This sign is a joke.  I can bet you the company who got this contract didn't hire new people.

The irony of it all.  Today Obama was out DEFENDING his stimulus bill.  Ok get it...key word...defending.  If it worked so well he wouldn't have to be defending.

Ok all you big head PHD's get back in line.... you cannot go to the front of the line because of your education status.  Everyone will get the opportunity to fill out a "pot hole filler" application.  Only the illegal hispanics may approach the front of the line...........

Bipartisan here we come...Do-Da, Do-Da

It's amazing what 41can do for Obama.  He's all ready to "PLAY" nice.  He's ready to lean across that aisle and listen to what Republicans have to say.

Don't even for a moment THINK that we believe you are doing this grand jesture out of kindness.... remember you didn't cross that aisle until you HAD to.

Hope the republicans decide to play nice with Mr. President.  I mean HE did take his ball and went home the day after he entered the White House.  This is the first SMART thing Obama has done.  He's going to make new friends, but keep the old... and he's going to try to do it BEFORE November when it will be even more difficult.  Have fun!

Sanctions... How's that working for us?

Soooooo Mr. President, how are those Iran sanctions working for you?

The AP Reports:

TEHRAN, Iran – Iran's president on Sunday ordered his atomic agency to significantly enrich the country's stockpile of uranium, angering Western nations who want to the Islamic republic to halt its nuclear program.

Mahmoud Ahmadinejad maintained, however, that Iran was also still willing to follow a U.N. plan to export its uranium abroad for further enrichment. Refining uranium produces nuclear fuel for a power plant but if carried out far enough can create material for a weapon.

The mixed messages from Tehran have infuriated the U.S. and its European allies, who claim Iran is only stalling for time as it attempts to build a nuclear weapon. U.S. Defense Secretary Robert Gates called for the international community to pressure Iran into abandoning its nuclear program.

Yawn!  Sanctions...hmmm bomb the suckers....take out their nuclear plants and call it a day.

The House Rejects H. Res. 615

I received an email today from Congressman John Fleming who is the author of the H. Res. 615.  Please see his comments below:
You will be pleased to know that more than 100 Members of Congress joined in support of H. Res. 615, my common sense measure calling on Members who vote for an intrusive government-administered health care plan to enroll in that system. Since launching this effort, nearly 3 million Americans like you have contacted my office in support of H. Res. 615. In response I offered an amendment to the Democratic Leadership health care bill to automatically enroll all Members of Congress and all Senators in the public option. Predictably, my amendment was rejected out of hand by the Majority and was not given a vote on the floor of the House of Representatives.
Common sense seems to have failed us in the health care debate. That is why I offered a resolution asking Members of Congress to put their “money where their mouth is” and call for Members who support a public option lead by example and be required to enroll in the public option themselves. If a Member is willing to vote for such an option, why shouldn’t they enroll in it?
Are you kidding?  THEY want US to have a public option health care system but THEY don't want to be a part of it.  Oh my, now why is that?  If this public option is so WONDERFUL then why are our congressmen not pushing each other over to be first in line to become a part of this plan.  Need I say more?

Is Obamacare On or Off?

It depends on which day of the week it is..............

Yes you heard me right.  On Thursday as Obama spoke at a Democratic National Committee fundraiser ...he is now acknowledging his health care overhaul may die in Congress.

Then he sleeps.............

On Saturday morning speaking at the winter meeting of the DNC Obama says: he's committed to pushing through a health care overhaul and isn't giving up; he is moving forward on health care reform.

Ok, I know what you are thinking...either he is...or he isn't, which is it?  Well, It really depends on what day of the week it is, and what audience Obama may be speaking to at that particular moment.  Or then again...he may have slept.

Lets just tell it like it is...Obama is an appeaser...whether it's with foreign dignitaries  or the health care reform.  Obama is going to say WHAT he thinks people (in this case the democratic congress) want to hear.  And if he THINKS wrong and gets a reaction which might deem him unpopular, well then it's a whole different story.

In otherwords Obama reminds me of a high school student.... he's going to do what makes him popular with his party.  It's not about Americans, It's not about this country... it's about what makes Obama look good.  Obama is all about "looking good",  or "making history" or  even appeasing the world ...it's call narcissism.

You stupid idiots who voted him in.....this is what you get.  A man who changes his mind probably more often than he changes his underwear!  This is what you get for electing a man who has never had a REAL job and who has never run a business.  I hope you are happy and our only savior is to take control of congress in 2010 and stop this trainwreck.

I'm so tired of liberal bullshit.

A Super Bowl Ad? That's a joke...right?

Oh indeed it is not a joke.  Our fine government who is SUPPOSE to be tightening their BELTS, just blew $2.5 million.

I kid you not... AP reports: "Faced with record levels of red ink into the foreseeable future, Washington is spending $2.5 million to create buzz for the census — by advertising during the Super Bowl."

We need to spend $2.5 million to create a buzz? for the census?  The story goes on.....

"Census officials call it a good investment, saying the front-end costs of purchasing the ads can be quickly recouped if they succeed in encouraging people to mail back their census forms. A recent poll found nearly 1 in 5 residents said they may not fill them out, mostly because they were unfamiliar with the census or weren't interested."

WHAT? These people will answer a phone poll BUT won't fill out a census.  Ok I'm sorry but this administration has gone too far....again and again and again.  I mean BUYING an ad during the super bowl.  Good grief I'm almost afraid to watch the super bowl due to fear that Obama probably bought air time too.  Lets be REAL.... $2.5 million to get people BUZZED about the census.  I need a glass of wine about right now... no let's make that two glasses!

Yes those belts in Washington are being tightened. NOT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Spending Smending!

There he "blows" again.  Obama preaching from the pulpit about spending....

During the president's town hall meeting in Nashua, New Hampshire, he discussed the need to curb spending during tough economic times. "When times are tough, you tighten your belts," the president said. "You don't go buying a boat when you can barely pay your mortgage. You don't blow a bunch of cash on Vegas when you're trying to save for college."

Hmmm uh...er... Mr. Obama, when times are tough, you tighten your belts and you don't go spending over $1.2 million taking 165 delegates to a climate summit and stay at a hotel with rooms costing $2200.00 per night, with a 5 day minimum when most only stayed 2 days.  (Explain that one)  Since when do our govt. workers stay in the most expensive hotels for the rich and famous... oh wait... since "we the taxpayers" are paying for it.

Yes, Mr. Obama I do believe YOU need to practice what you preach.  Yes, lets go line by line and stop this spending.   Let's start with the speaker of the house..... put her ass in first class on a plane back and forth to DC from SF, and screw the private air force jet.  We will save hundreds of thousands on airfare costs and tens of thousands on the bar bill.  Let's immediately stop shuttling Pelosi's children and grandchildren on airforce jets.

Nevermind, I'll come to Washington and start going over the budgets and expense accounts.  I bet I could make a HUGE impact on the spending and reduce the debt with all the outrageous spending our public officals are doing.

He Loves Me.....

Indeed....forget the LOVE and let's get down to our POTUS taxing the middle class.  His record budget which just hit capital hill this week has all the SMELL of tax increases for the middle class.

OOps...wait... didn't he PROMISE no tax increases.  (he did...he didn't...oh yes he did)

As reported in THE HILL: The $3.8 trillion budget request rolled out by the White House on Monday would renew the Making Work Pay tax credit for fiscal 2011, but then would have it sunset.

That’s a switch from last year, when Obama’s budget called for making the tax credit permanent.

Let's just call it as it is....OPEN up your wallets... here comes Obama!
