What a beautiful December day it is.  However, it's not looking so cushy for the CIC.

Rasmussen reports today that 25% of the nations voters strongly approve of the way Obama is performing his role as President.

While 46% of the nations voters strongly disapprove of the way Obama is performing his role as President. 

Fifty-three percent (53%) of men Strongly Disapprove along with 39% of women. Most African-American voters (58%) Strongly Approve while most white voters (53%) Strongly Disapprove.


Seventy-four percent (74%) of Republicans Strongly Disapprove as do 52% of unaffiliated voters. Forty-seven percent (47%) of Democrats Strongly Approve.

Worst rating so far for Obama, and it hasn't even been a year.  Oh my!

The DEMOCRAT Healthcare Reform.

You betcha!  This monstrosity of a healthcare bill will be known as the Democrat Healthcare Reform.

How can the Democrats pass one of the largest bills, which affects almost all Americans, and at one of the largest costs... on a partisan vote.

Yes the Democrats will be answering to the public outcry when this bill passes.  Over 51% of Americans are NOT in favor of this bill.  The democrats chose not to listen to their constituents....they shall pay for that in the 2010 & 2012 elections.  We can be thankful they couldn't get it passed WITH the public option in there.

Don't trust that...I'm sure the Democrats will try to somehow sneak a public option in the bill.  How can the Democrats pass this with NOT ONE Republican vote.  I guess Obama's bi-partisan promise went out the window his 2nd week in office.

I know it is all politics....but when will the congress begin to listen to AMERICANS?  We need to take back our country and get rid of these wastebag senators and representatives on both sides of the aisle!

I am furious at our republican leaders for not trying to FIX our healthcare system BEFORE the democrats took controll.  That's what we get!  At least we have 2010 and 2012 to UNDO the partisan mess these liberals have created.

Good lord the woman is delerious.  Pelosi is quoted in "The Hill":

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) said Friday that Democrats' majority in Congress is not in danger going into the 2010 midterm elections.

Pelosi said that while every election cycle is competitive, and acknowledged the particularly large margin by which Democrats control the House, she would work to keep Democrats in control.

"No, we will be a Democratic majority," Pelosi told MSNBC in an interview when asked whether her majority would be up for grabs in 2010.

"Every year's competitive," she said. "So we have a very big majority — I am committed to protecting that majority."

Yes indeed this is a historic day in the good ole USA.  Healthcare just received the 60th vote it needed to pass.  Senator Nelson indeed could hear the money speaking.

Yes Senator Nelson's state just now saved millions on Medicare.  Yes indeed.... his was bought by this uncouth administration. 

AP NEWS reports Senator Nelson receives the following for his vote:

1. States would be permitted to ban insurance coverage of abortions in policies sold in the exchange, except in cases of rape, incest or when the life of the mother is in jeopardy. In states where such coverage is permitted, consumers must notify their insurance company they want it, and pay for it separately.
2. The Nebraskan also won increased federal funds to cover his state's cost of covering an expanded Medicaid population at a cost that one Democratic official put at $45 million over a decade, and took credit for easing the bill's impact as well as other, smaller changes.

Oh my....45million, jeez I guess that's the going cost for a vote in DC.  So at least we now know what it takes to get a vote in DC.  There is now a number attached.  Golly gee wiz.... they didn't ask me if I wanted my tax dollars to go to Nebraska.  Wow??? aren't we broke??? 45 million.....I smell a rat!!!!

Must be nice...I wonder WHICH states will do without that Federal Funding.  Well I guess I'm just glad to know what the going rate on buying a vote is.  Well done democraps.... have fun....2010 is just a stone's throw away!

Healthcare Reform Bill....is dead!

Yes.... the healthcare bill is dead ....MERRY CHRISTMAS AMERICANS!!

I mean ...when Senate Democrats start saying "KILL THE BILL".  You know it's not good.

Mr. Obama THOUGHT that he could advance socialized healthcare and HE couldn't.  This bill is dead as it would cause such an increase in healthcare costs.

I mean lets sit back and think about this.  We want to offer those who can't get insurance and those with pre-existing conditions insurance.  I mean without legislation to put a cap on healthcare premiums we are basically screwed if this bill passes and the dems know it.  I mean the cost of insurance would go up ...as young healthy inured will pay for the cost of those who can't get insurance or those with pre-existing conditions.  You know the health insurance companies are NOT going to absorb those costs.

I don't know the answer unless health insurance companies become non-profits.... or if a cap is put on profits for insurance companies...or possibly that government controls the costs of premiums. 

What's the the answer?  I believe our government leaders do not know the answer.  Is Obama so stupid to believe that republicans wouldn't of addressed the healthcare problem if there were a viable solution?

The Obama Team is Taking Credit for a Bush Policy in North Korea!

Yes...this was the headlines in a recent article by Huffington Post.  Lol... not only is Obama BLAMING bush, he's also stealing his thunder! 

Basically the Obama team claimed the recently passed United Nations Security Council Resolution on North Korea, Resolution 1874 was the reason that an airplane carrying illegal weapons leaving from North Korea was seized by Thailand.  The Thai intelligence authorities worked with American officials to determine that the 5-member crew from a cargo company in the Republic of Georgia was carrying roughly 30 tons of illegal military equipment.

In all actuality Resolution 1874 authorizes countries to board sea vessels and ships, not airplanes. It was a Bush Administration resolution that gave the authority to seize the plane.

WASHINGTON (AP) - President Barack Obama outlined new multibillion-dollar stimulus and jobs proposals Tuesday, saying the nation must continue to "spend our way out of this recession" until more Americans are back at work.


Without giving a price tag, Obama proposed a package of new spending for highway, bridge and other infrastructure projects, deeper tax breaks for small businesses and tax incentives to encourage people to make their homes more energy efficient.

"We avoided the depression many feared," Obama said in a speech at the Brookings Institution, a Washington think tank. But, he added, "Our work is far from done."

WHAT? Tax break for small businesses.  I can't wait to see that happen.  I'm sorry but building bridges, repairing highways is NOT going to get our jobs back.  I can see all the nerdy computer geeks out on the roads trying to repair the pot holes.  Infrastructure my ass!  

Obama included sharp criticism for Republicans in his speech, accusing them of opposing economic stimulus efforts and his health care overhaul while supporting tax cuts and spending that have ballooned the deficit.

He said that soon after taking office, he and congressional Democrats took "a series of difficult steps" to try to stabilize the financial system and pull the economy out of a deep recession.

"And we were forced to take those steps largely without the help of an opposition party which, unfortunately, after having presided over the decision-making that led to the crisis, decided to hand it to others to solve.

There goes the blame game again and how the Republicans refuse to do their part.  That's a big pile of BS.  Here is the best way to cut jobs.  AOL news gives us 3 easy steps:

It might be a surprise to this White House team, but you don't have to be a celebrity CEO or hold a Ph.D. in economics to know how to create jobs. The many small-business owners who are members of American Solutions and who actually create jobs have given input and widespread support to the following three-step job-creation plan for the economy.

1. Reduce Spending and Replace Bad Government with Limited, Effective Government to Achieve a Balanced Budget

When Newt Gingrich was speaker of the House, federal spending rose by an average of 2.9 percent per year, the lowest increase since the 1920s. We need to apply the same principles that worked from 1995 to 1998 to create jobs and four straight balanced budgets: smaller government, less spending, lower interest rates and less debt. We also need, where necessary, to replace bad government with limited, effective government, like we did in the 1990s when we replaced a destructive welfare system.

2. Enact Five Key Tax Reforms to Reward Job Creation, Entrepreneurship, Savings and Investment

• Zero Taxes on Capital Gains. Match the Chinese capital gains rate of zero. Former Fed Chairman Alan Greenspan testified in the 1990s that this was the best rate for economic growth.

• Reduced Tax Rate for Business. America has the second highest business tax rate in the world. We should match the Irish business tax rate of 12.5 percent. Combined with a zero capital gains tax rate, America would become the most desirable country in the world in which to invest and start a business.

• Elimination of the Death Tax. Inheritance is the most powerful accumulator of capital. Studies show that eliminating the death tax would create hundreds of thousands of new jobs.

3. Implement an American Energy Plan to Create American Jobs and Keep American Money at Home

Developing more domestic energy while protecting the environment would mean millions of new American jobs and billions in new federal tax dollars, largely without the need for any new federal spending. Unfortunately, the federal government maintains an effective embargo on new domestic oil, natural gas and oil shale development, and hasn't done enough to expand our nuclear power generation. A recovering economy depends on affordable domestic energy supplies.

Wait, wait, wait....now lets look at the civil rights movement...better yet, lets compare how the parties voted on the Civil Rights Act of 1964 --  I do believe it was the Democrats voting against the bill outnumbering the republicans.  If you plan to cry "those Democrats turned Republican"....I call bullshit!!

In the Senate only 69% of Democrats voted for The Civil Rights Act compared to 82% of Republicans who voted for the bill. 

In the House of Representatives only 61% of Democrats voted for the Civil Rights Act compared to 80% of Republicans who voted for the bill.

And lets not forget that  it was Sen. Strom Thurmond, then a Democrat, who unsuccessfully tried to filibuster the Civil Rights Act of 1957 and it was Republicans who led the charge against slavery.

Senate Republicans on Monday called Reid's comments "offensive" and "unbelievable."   I totally agree.  However I believe Mr. Reid should not shutup.... he will keep his opponent in a double digit lead in the polls.

Well, well, well.....Obama's approval ratings are slipping even beyond what the hard core liberals could even imagine.

Yes Gallup the left-wing pollsters had to jump on board with the below 50% approval ratings.  Currently Gallup has Obama's approval rating at 47%.  Less than a year ago this president had an approval rating of 70%.

What happened?  Has the fact that the man has so little experience that it is finally showing through.  I mean maybe if he had just a bit of experience in running a company, even a small company he would possibly be doing a much better job.  Oh SNAP, experience can't change his socialist yearnings.

Maybe that is what this is all about.  His socialist medicine program is not sitting well with Americans.  Or maybe it's the fact that he has approved 30,000 more troops in afghan and at the same moment he approved more troops he also disclosed an exit plan 18 months from now.  Oh wait..... are you thinking what I am thinking?  Maybe the exit plan (which they are now not calling it an exit plan) is timed to coinside with Obama's campaigning for his 2nd term.  I smell a rotten egg!!!

The American Medical Association (AMA) was facing a 21 percent cut in physicians’ reimbursements under the current law. Obama promised to kill the cut if they backed his bill. The cuts are the fruit of a law requiring annual 5-6 percent reductions in doctor reimbursements for treating Medicare patients. Bravely, each year Congress has rolled the cuts over, suspending them but not repealing them. So each year, the accumulated cuts threaten doctors. By now, they have risen to 21 percent. With this blackmail leverage, Obama compelled the AMA to support his bill … or else!

The AARP Chose Door #1

The AARP got a financial windfall in return for its support of the healthcare bill. Over the past decade, the AARP has morphed from an advocacy group to an insurance company (through its subsidiary company). It is one of the main suppliers of Medi-gap insurance, a high-cost, privately purchased coverage that picks up where Medicare leaves off. But President Bush-43 passed the Medicare Advantage program, which offered a subsidized, lower-cost alternative to Medi-gap. Under Medicare Advantage, the elderly get all the extra coverage they need plus coordinated, well-managed care, usually by the same physician. So more than 10 million seniors went with Medicare Advantage, cutting into AARP Medi-gap revenues.


Presto! Obama solved their problem. He eliminates subsidies for Medicare Advantage. The elderly will have to pay more for coverage under Medigap, but the AARP — which supposedly represents them — will make more money.

The drug industry backed ObamaCare and, in return, got a 10-year limit of $80 billion on cuts in prescription drug costs. (A drop in the bucket of their almost $3 trillion projected cost over the next decade.) They also got administration assurances that it will continue to bar lower-cost Canadian drugs from coming into the U.S. All it had to do was put its formidable advertising budget at the disposal of the administration.
 
Indeed...."Let's Make a Deal" also extends to the Congress.  Mary Landrieu was bought for a mere $100 million for her state of Louisiana.  Mary oppossed the healthcare bill, until she saw dollar signs.  Hmmm another money hungry whore!  OOPS ...did I say that outloud?  Mary is willing to SELL out her constituents for a few million....gross!!!

History shows that the greater threat to prosperity is not too little government involvement, but too much," said Mr. Bush, who has remained largely out of the limelight since leaving office and rarely criticizes his successor.


Delivering a speech on the campus of Southern Methodist University in Dallas, future home to the George W. Bush Presidential Center, the former president sought to explain his decision to have the federal government intervene at the beginning of the economic downturn last fall.

"I believe in the power of the free enterprise system, which made the decision I faced last fall one of the most difficult of my presidency. I went against my free market instincts and approved a temporary government intervention to unfreeze credit and prevent a global financial catastrophe," he said.

(I didn't always agree with all of Bush's decisions or even lack of decisions, however I never at any point during his 8 years of reign was I ever AFRAID for our country.  Come to think of it, I have never been afraid for our country under any democrat or republican President until this year.)

A terrorist...is a terrrorist.... is a terrorist.  I'm sorry but there is no way around it.  The first word out of Obama's mouth was "let's not jump to conclusions".  Ok I'm fine with that.  We are well beyond JUMPING to any conclusions.  Mr. Obama could YOU please define what Ft. Hood was?  I'm beyond curious.

I call it an Islamic Terrorist attack.  I'm a bit confused on why the White House is not calling this an Islamic Terrorist attack?  Let's look at the definition of a terrorist:

1. a person, usually a member of a group, who uses or advocates terrorism.

2. a person who terrorizes or frightens others.

On David Horowitz Newsreel he defines terrorism and then shows how Hasan fits into that catagory:

According to U.S. statute, the term “terrorism” means premeditated, politically motivated violence perpetrated against noncombatant targets by subnational groups or clandestine agents, usually intended to influence an audience.

• “Premeditated” – Nidal Malik Hasan bought his guns, loaded them, brought them to Fort Hood and began shooting.
• “Politically motivated” - Hasan has been quoted as approving of suicide bombing and the murder of army recruits by another Muslim.
• “Noncombatant targets” -The term “noncombatant” is interpreted to include, in addition to civilians, military personnel who at the time of the incident are unarmed and/or not on duty. Most if not all of Hasan’s victims were reported to be unarmed until a policewoman was able to bring him down and was also shot in the process.
• “By subnational groups or clandestine agents, usually intended to influence an audience” - Well it is true that Hasan appeared to be operating alone, although he had clandestinely contacted on several occasions his former radical imam, Anwar al-Awlaki, after the latter fled to Yemen and became a recruiter for al Qaeda.

As for intending to influence his audience, he shouted ‘Allahu Akbar’ (the jihadist mantra) right before starting his bloody rampage.

So what's the problem?  Why can't this President call a spade a spade....damnit....I want an answer... is Hasan a terrorist or is he not.  You've had plenty of time to think about it.... now give us an answer!

I find it quite ironic that Obama's pick for Treasury Secretary in a short 10 months ...has had demands for his resignation twice... once last March and then again this week.

Forget Geithner..... go after the idiot... I mean Obama.  Obama showed his lack of experience when he hired Geithner.  I mean seriously my grandchild could of figured out that you don't hire a man who has screwed the IRS for the Treasury Secretary.

This whole administration is a farce....let's call for all their resignations.  Wouldn't that be funny!  To be honest, I only wonder if GEITHNER is calling the shots.  Personally I don't believe so.... he's doing exactly what the Doctor... err I mean President ordered.

Mr. Geithner said while testifying yesterday

 I agree with almost nothing in what you said," Geithner told Brady. "And I think almost nothing of what you said represents a fair and accurate perception of where this economy is today."

Geithner forcefully defended himself and the Obama administration and pinned blame for the country's economic woes on the previous administration.

I am Appalled!

Do you notice anything different about this post? The difference is there is no picture.  I always add a picture to each of my posts.  But this is different.  After the tradegy at Ft. Hood on Thursday as we are all trying to let what happened sink in..........George and Laura Bush showed up at Ft. Hood on Friday evening.  There were no photo ops, no press conferences, no look at me.... the Bush's made a private visit to pay their respects to the fallen soldiers and to visit the soldiers who were injured.  Hence NO PICTURE for my blog.  Oh wait...BUSH is our FORMER President.....

Where is Obama?
On Thursday, Obama held a press conference at 5 pm on Thursday while he was at a Tribal Nations Conference.  Mr. Obama made some opening remarks and a shout out and then he slipped right into talking about our fallen....once he pulled his speech from his breast pocket.

That wasn't the bad part...well wait...he needed a speech to know what to say about the tradegy that happened at Ft. Hood.  Hmmm...that blows my mind...I know I personally would not need typed words to tell me what to say.....if I were speacking about it...I KNOW what I feel and that would work for me.

Everyone including the media was appalled by Obama's non-chalant attitude about Ft. Hood.  I've heard the media describe it several ways.  The AP describes it below:

It is Saturday, two days later... where is our President.  Oh my wait, he can't visit Ft. Hood right now, he is busy on Capital Hill today trying to get his healthcare bill passed.  Yes, these soldiers and families of the fallen will have to wait for our COMMANDER IN CHIEF to find the time to visit the tragedy in Texas.  I'm sure he'll find time...sooner or later.  The Audacity of this DOPE!

Jihad or not?

It's hard to even comment or write about the Ft. Hood incident.  I, as most of you are still in shock that such a devastating thing should happen on the largest military base in USA.

It's another American tragedy by a Muslim.  When will we learn?

As I look at this picture of Nidal Malik Hasan I feel a mixture of emotions from grief, to pity, to hatred, to shock, to confusion.  Why? I have many questions as I assume most of you do.  Who will answer...what are the answers.

My Questions:

1. Why are there over 15,000 Muslims serving in our military?  There are some 40 Muslims at Fort Hood, and an estimated 15,000 Muslims serving throughout the U.S. armed forces.  Why? answer me why?
2. Muslims by Sharia Law are mandated never to fight Muslims. Why are Muslims in our military when we are fighting not only a war on terrorism, but a war in the center of the Muslim world. What will it take to get Muslim soldiers out of our military? 
3. Why are Muslims involved with homeland security, Obama just appointed two Muslims to the HSB and Nidal Hasan was listed as a participant in a Homeland Security Policy Institute's presidential transition task force last year.  WHY?

It's a sad day for the families of the fallen at Ft. Hood.  Lets keep these families in our prayers.

The Ant & the Grasshopper!

Today friends, I'm going to tell you a story.

Have you ever heard the story of the grasshopper and the ant?  I believe there are many different versions so today I'm going to give you two of those.

Version 1 - Old Version
The ant works hard in the withering heat all summer long, building his house and laying up supplies for the winter.


The grasshopper thinks the ant is a fool and laughs and dances and plays the summer away.

Come winter, the ant is warm and well fed. The grasshopper has no food or shelter, so he dies out in the cold.

MORAL OF THE STORY: Don't procrastinate and be responsible for yourself!

Version II - Modern Version
The ant works hard in the withering heat all summer long, building his house and laying up supplies for the winter. The grasshopper thinks the ant is a fool and laughs and dances and plays the summer away.

Come winter, the shivering grasshopper calls a press conference and demands to know why the ant should be allowed to be warm and well fed while others are cold and starving.

CBS, MSNBC , PBS, CNN, and ABC show up to provide pictures of the shivering grasshopper next to a video of the ant in his comfortable home with a table filled with food. America is stunned by the sharp contrast.

How can this be, that in a country of such wealth, this poor grasshopper is allowed to suffer so?

Kermit the Frog appears on Oprah with the grasshopper and everybody cries when they sing, 'It's Not Easy Being Green.'

Acorn stages a demonstration in front of the ant 's house where the news stations film the group singing, 'We shall overcome.'

Rev. Jeremiah Wright then has the group kneel down to pray to God for the grasshopper's sake.

Nancy Pelosi & Harry Reid exclaim in an interview with Larry King that the ant has gotten rich off the back of the grasshopper, and both call for an immediate tax hike on the ant to make him pay his fair share.

Finally, the EEOC drafts the Economic Equity & Anti-Grasshopper Act retroactive to the beginning of the summer.

The ant is fined for failing to hire a proportionate number of green bugs and, having nothing left to pay his retroactive taxes, his home is confiscated by the Government Green Czar.

The story ends as we see the grasshopper finishing up the last bits of the ants food while the government house he is in, which just happens to be the ant's old house, crumbles around him because he doesn't maintain it.

The ant has disappeared in the snow.

The grasshopper is found dead in a drug related incident and the house, now abandoned, is taken over by a gang of spiders who terrorize the once peaceful neighborhood.

Just a hint of what's to come!!!

Well, well, well!  Wasn't yesterday just a delight for republicans all around.  Chris Christie defeated Corzine by 4 percentage points — the largest victory by a New Jersey Republican in nearly a quarter-century.

LOL...this happened just 9 months after Obama won the presidency.  Obama spent alot of time campaigning for Corzine in NJ and in VA for Deeds.

Politico stated:

The off-year elections were, in two big races, an unmistakable rebuke of Democrats, reshuffling Obama’s political circumstances in ways likely to have severe near-term consequences for his policy agenda and larger governing strategy.

And lets not forget McDonnel in VA.  I seriously have to quote Politico again because I don't believe I could do him justice! 

Quote Politico: state Sen. Creigh Deeds in Virginia, who was clubbed like a harp seal in his 17-percentage-point loss to GOP nominee Bob McDonnell.

 LOL I couldn't stop laughing after I read that.  The best part of all of this is that these guys won big, and the exit polls showed  Republican McDonnell won 63 percent of independent voters. Likewise in Democratic-trending Northern Virginia, the Republican carried the three largest suburban counties of Fairfax, Loudoun and Prince William — all counties Obama won handily last year.  In New Jersey, likewise, Christie won 58 percent of independents.

“This is a shot across the bow to the moderates and Blue Dog Democrats as they decide votes on health care” and other issues, said Rep. Eric Cantor (R-Va.), the House minority whip. “It’s a wake-up call for Democrats across the country,” said Wilder, who did not endorse Deeds.

He said independents are worried about what they see as careless spending by Obama and his Democratic allies in Washington, and he advised Obama to reorganize his White House to rely less on campaign operatives and focus more on governing.

Upside down flag....who would do that?

I'm sure you've all heard about the fireman who was suspended for having a sticker of the American Flag on his locker. 

Now those yankees are pretty ass-backwards up there in the north.  Ok ... here's how it started, one firefighter posted a cartoon that another black firefighter didn't like.  So the black firefighter (Butler) took the cartoon down and replaced it with a sign that said "black man has no free speech".  So the black fire fighter was suspended for a day for his freedom of speech sign.

So the fire commissioner makes a new rule that says - no stickers on any lockers...period.  So FF Krapf took down all his stickers but the American Flag.  Soooooooo quess what... he was suspended.  And from that point on all hell broke loose.  All kinds of protests and meetings....blah blah blah. 

So then Butler.... the black firefighter comes to work the next day with a knit cap with the American flag flying upside down.  Soooooooooooooooooo thats when everyone really got mad.  Ok ok so all was resolved, Krapf got to keep his sticker, Butler wasn't suspended for wearing the knit cap with an upside down flag.

Yes people were angry with Butler for wearing the flag upside down.  Now I personally have better things to do than argue over an upside down flag.  I mean... depicting the flag upside down does have a meaning...

The American Flag should only be depicted when the country ...yes the big ole' US of A is in distress.  the rules are: The flag should never be displayed with the union down, except as a signal of dire distress in instances of extreme danger to life or property.  So this leaves me totally mistified....

I mean if you remember the DNC Convention.... ok wait we are republicans.  Ok at the DNC convention you needed a ticket to get into the convention.  The funny part about the ticket... is the American Flag is depicted upside down... I kid you not.... take a look at the photographs below:

The DNC Convention ticket was a holographic image that uses Obama's head merging in and out of the flag background.  The thing about it is.....THE FRIGGIN FLAG IS UPSIDE DOWN.  Hmmm.... sign of distress.... you betcha' ...look at our country 9 months later.  Makes me just giggle!!!!

How ironic that the media pronounces the country devided when Bush won at 51%.... and the country united when Obama won at 52%.

Definately shows how the bleeding left liberal media can TRY to set the stage for America and Americans.  It's a sad day when you can no longer watch the news and expect the truth... instead you get a slanted opinon leaning either left or right and you have to deduct the political views of the reporter, station or whoever before you can get down to the actual facts.

What ever happened to reporting the news as facts, and leaving the opinion making up to the individual American?  I for one have had my fill of the blatent OPINIONS in the media.  It's time to take back our media and expect them to report the NEWS not OPINIONS!!!

Say NO...to the Public Health Care Option

The democrats along with the lovely Ms. Snowe passed the Health Care Reform bill from the Senate Finance Committee.  Indeed it was such a beautiful plan and as we SUSPECTED once it left the committee and the greedy lil' dems got their hands on it they made sure the public option was a part of the bill.

Well guess what you socialist democrats... we won't stand for it.  No sir-ree we will just not have it.  OOps and neither will Ms. Snowe, the lone republican votee, and lets not forget Lieberman who shook his head NO at the public option...and of course we owe those blue dog dems who are saying.... NO ENCHILADA to the public option.

Now for you slow readers (aka democrats/liberals).... we republicans WANT healthcare reform.  We want to stop the spiraling costs, we want to insure those who have pre-existing conditions without a price increase which makes insurance not affordable.  Yes we want EVERYTHING you want... however we don't want our damn government running the system.

Now you dems have control of both houses of congress.  What's the problem?  You missed Obama's first deadline.... and quess what... you'll miss the next one because we have intelligent individuals on your side of the aisle who know what a f*-fest this public option would be.  Let's move forward, drop the public option and start fixing our health care system.

For those of you who want free healthcare.... get off your butts and get a job.  I refuse to pay for your healthcare.  As a single women who raised two children, I worked part time jobs to ensure my children had great health insurance.... trust me... you can do it too!!!!

The AP a Birther? OH my!!!!!

Ok, I've never been a birther, don't plan to be a birther, nor do I have dreams of being a birther. However that cannot be said for the Associated Press who released an article about Obama back in 2004 saying "Kenyan Born Obama all set for US Senate".

Hey....I didn't say it, I just repeated it. I'll give you a link to read the entire article. I find it quite amusing how Obama WON the election for that seat by the republican having to drop from the race. Yes SOMEONE went to court to get Obama's opponents divorce settlement. Hmm sounds fishy... typical Chitcago Politics. Obama is an evil man.

The Audacity of a Dope!

Obama spoke at the St. Francis Hotel in San Francisco.....and of course he drew a huge crowd as most Presidents do.

Good lord....wait... he drew another crowd of protesters. I always find this quite amusing that everywhere Obama goes....protesters are there!

Now it wouldn't be fair if I didn't tell you about the supporters inside who paid anywhere from $500 - $3000 a plate to hear Obama speak. (What a waste of good hard earned money!

KGO-TV covered the event and reports:

By 11 p.m. many of the protesters cleared out, but many of them acknowledge the President probably never saw them. Some protesters said they still feel good that they got their opinion out there, hoping someone in the crowd heard or saw their message.

People started lining up a few hours before President Obama was scheduled to arrive at the Westin St. Frances Hotel. Protesters had a lot to say about health care and the war in Afghanistan. They argued with each other and held signs with strong messages for the president.

"People in this country had a lot of trust to vote for him to make a change and they really didn't know what kind of change," said Pleasanton resident Karla Bruen. (Yes we all wonder about change) But the president missed the messages; his motorcade slipped him into a hotel side entrance, away from the masses waiting on Powell Street. (Chicken) Inside, he acknowledged the debates raging around the issues.

"I believe in a two party system where ideas are tested and assumptions are challenged because that's how we move this country forward, but what I reject is when some folks decide to sit on the sidelines and root for failure," said President Obama.

(Oh really... you believe in a two party system, well I'm beyond shocked. Obama continues to tote the idealism that he's all about bipartisanship, however talk is cheap. Over and over again Obama has not listened or even leaned to the right of the aisle to work together. Over and over the reps have tried to work with the dems on the hc reform, and over and over again they are ignored. Obama...I dare you to call a spade a spade and speak the truth...you don't care about bipartisan.. you care about your leftist agenda. You DON'T care what the American people are telling you. You skirt around the protesters to avoid them, just like you pretended you didn't know about the march on Washington in September. Hmmm you are NOT fooling anyone) And I can't go on with out commenting on "sitting on the sidelines rooting for failure....give me a break Obama....be a man and face your adversity head on!!! I dare you!

I'm all about conservatism and the two party system, and I realize the same thing happens when reps were in control, but never to this point. Never have I seen the President and the majority party not listen to Americans. Wait... when was the last time that you saw people in the streets by the hundreds of thousands...protesting the decisions of the POTUS?

He told the crowd to get ready for some intense arguing around health care. "We are closer than we have ever been to passing health insurance reform. (Only because the dems have the majority...watch out Obama, 2010 the reps are moving in and life as you know it... will never be the same). Health insurance reform that will finally make quality care affordable for people who don't have it, and bring stability and security to people who do, and slow the skyrocketing health care costs that are crushing our families and businesses and our state and our federal government," said Obama.

The Senate Finance Committee is voting today on our socialist healthcare plan. Let's make a prediction.... I bet they pass it.

With Democrats holding a 13-10 majority on the committee the outcome of Tuesday's vote is not in doubt. The big question mark is whether moderate Sen. Olympia Snowe of Maine will become the first Republican to support a health overhaul bill. The legislation that passed the other House and Senate committees did so without a single Republican vote.

OSLO – President Barack Obama won the 2009 Nobel Peace Prize on Friday in a stunning decision (jfc you can say that again) designed to encourage his initiatives to reduce nuclear arms, ease tensions with the Muslim world and stress diplomacy and cooperation rather than unilateralism.

Many observers were shocked (that's putting it lightly) by the unexpected choice so early in the Obama presidency, which began less than two weeks before the Feb. 1 nomination deadline and has yet to yield concrete achievements in peacemaking. (ok wait... he was nominated by who? when? two weeks? what did he do in two weeks? ...... I DEMAND TO KNOW WHO HE IS SLEEPING WITH)

Some around the world objected (You can add a shit-load of Americans to that list too) to the choice of Obama, who still oversees wars in Iraq and Afghanistan and has launched deadly counter-terror strikes in Pakistan and Somalia.

The Norwegian Nobel Committee countered that it was trying "to promote what he stands for and the positive processes that have started now." (Seriously I want to know who is sucking who's dick) It lauded the change in global mood wrought by Obama's calls for peace and cooperation, and praised his pledges to reduce the world stock of nuclear arms, ease American conflicts with Muslim nations and strengthen the U.S. role in combating climate change.

The peace prize was created partly to encourage ongoing peace efforts but Obama's efforts are at far earlier stages than past winners'. The Nobel committee acknowledged that they may not bear fruit at all.

"He got the prize because he has been able to change the international climate," Nobel Committee chairman Thorbjoern Jagland said. "Some people say, and I understand it, isn't it premature? Too early? Well, I'd say then that it could be too late to respond three years from now. It is now that we have the opportunity to respond — all of us."

(HUH? 3 years from now? too late to wait and see if he really does deserve it? too late to see if the man who has not accomplished anything in his first year of presidency really does follow through with his "holding hands around the world campaign".

Remember way back when Kerry was running for president. Let me set the stage. Kerry was running for president, Mitt Romney was Gov. of MA at the time and good ole' Ted Kennedy and his dem cronies thought Kerry would win. So the MA dem controlled congress created a law where the Gov. could not appoint a replacement to the senate seat and an election would have to be held within 5 months to elect a new senator.


Now Ted really really wanted this law so that Mitt Romney couldn't appoint a new REPUBLICAN senator for MA. Ted got his wish and the law was passed.

So what do you know, Ted is on his deathbed and he writes a letter wanting the law to be overlooked so that if his seat were vacant...(after he kicked the bucket) a person could be immediately put into his seat. And NOT just any person, but a person of LIBERAL persuasion. Goes to show the Liberals are about partisan interest and not principle.

So indeed, the now DEMOCRATIC Senator APPOINTED Paul Kirk as interim senator. How funny is that. The dems make the laws to suit them, and then change the laws to suit them again. Indeed the slimy liberals know how to work the system.

All hail the liberals and the balls they have to make such a bold and partisan move. Obviously the democrats of MA are not about a democratic process. They are all about having the 60 votes to ensure Obama's agenda. Can we all say HYPOCRITS?

Associated Press reports:

TEHRAN, Iran – Iran tested its most advanced missiles Monday to cap two days of war games, raising more international concern and stronger pressure to quickly come clean on the newly revealed nuclear site Tehran was secretly constructing.

This happening just days after Obama announced that State television said the powerful Revolutionary Guard, which controls Iran's missile program, successfully tested upgraded versions of the medium-range Shahab-3 and Sajjil missiles. Both can carry warheads and reach up to 1,200 miles (2,000 kilometers), putting Israel, U.S. military bases in the Middle East, and parts of Europe within striking distance.

The missile tests were meant to flex Iran's military might and show readiness for any military threat.

"Iranian missiles are able to target any place that threatens Iran," said Abdollah Araqi, a top Revolutionary Guard commander, according to the semi-official Fars news agency.
Iran conducted three rounds of missile tests in drills that began Sunday, two days after the U.S. and its allies disclosed the country had been secretly developing an underground uranium enrichment facility. The Western powers warned Iran it must open the site to international inspection or face harsher international sanctions.

Iran's Foreign Ministry spokesman Hasan Qashqavi said the missile tests had nothing to do with the tension over the site, saying it was part of routine, long-planned military exercises.

Well aren't we all becoming BOLD and launching our missiles.... I mean first North Korea and now Iran. How funny after Obama decides to forget about the missile shield in Europe, Iran decides to let the world know....oops we have a 2nd SECRETIVE site we've not been honest about.

Snowe? Snow job?

Ms. Snowe seems to be enjoying the power she holds over Washington at the moment.

Yes ...she is the MAYBE one republican vote that the democrats may be able to count on to hit 60... should she decide to vote for the HC bill.

Yes I do believe Ms. Snowe has been sleeping with the enemy this year. Hmmm wonder what it gets her? I also wonder what her republican constituents are feeling right at this moment. I mean she already voted for the stimulus package ....however she is holding strong on the fact that she will not vote for a HC bill with the public option in it. However she is all for using the public option as a threat against health insurance companies.

I just believe that if the Public Option is used as a threat we can all but declare that the public option will come to life. I think Ms. Snowe needs to figure out... you can't have your cake and eat it too. There is a fence Ms. Snowe..... get off it.... either side...just get the f*$% off the fence! You either are for it....or you aren't. Now which is it? Remember...those who voted you IN can vote you OUT!

Slash US Nuclear Arsenal!

Well this is one campaign promise Obama hasn't broken. I mean the Iranians are arming themselves as well as the North Koreans and Obama wants to DISARM America?

Barack Obama has demanded the Pentagon conduct a radical review of US nuclear weapons doctrine to prepare the way for deep cuts in the country's arsenal, the Guardian can reveal.

Obama has rejected the Pentagon's first draft of the "nuclear posture review" as being too timid, and has called for a range of more far-reaching options consistent with his goal of eventually abolishing nuclear weapons altogether, according to European officials.

Those options include:
• Reconfiguring the US nuclear force to allow for an arsenal measured in hundreds rather than thousands of deployed strategic warheads.
• Redrafting nuclear doctrine to narrow the range of conditions under which the US would use nuclear weapons.
• Exploring ways of guaranteeing the future reliability of nuclear weapons without testing or producing a new generation of warheads.

The review is due to be completed by the end of this year, and European officials say the outcome is not yet clear. But one official said: "Obama is now driving this process. He is saying these are the president's weapons, and he wants to look again at the doctrine and their role."

The move comes as Obama prepares to take the rare step of chairing a watershed session of the UN security council on Thursday. It is aimed at winning consensus on a new grand bargain: exchanging more radical disarmament by nuclear powers in return for wider global efforts to prevent further proliferation.
