Welcome all! I intend to keep the current administration honest, well along with some trashing the administration for the next four years. Indeed it shall be fun. Sit back, relax, enjoy and share in the bashing!

Bailout the Home Buyers?
Right on! Screw them all, I pay my own mortgage and I don't want to pay yours!
Diana, we Americans can relate to how you feel. Our middle class has been robbed blind by the greedy lying thieving GOP for 8 years and their underhanded attempt to destroy the US economy forever. Now we will all have to make sacrifices so we can save the poor and middle class, including the jobless, homeless, aimless, republican voters who supported and cheered Bush on the whole time. People like you, Diana, who still haven't paid off your mortgage on your 20K trailer home you purchased during the Clinton era of prosperity and economic growth. Unfortunately, even honest and hardworking Americans will have to contribute in order to save our country. Thank God Obama came along with a plan. If we all pull together, we might have a chance, but its a long road ahead to rebuilding what the GOP destroyed.
Finance commentator Rick Santelli had his "15"seconds mouthing his frustrations related to the bailout. Unfortunately for him and his sympathizers, he completely miss characterized the intent, implementation, and effect of the bailout. The bailout is going to begin our economic comeback- it is not perfect, but it will help keep states from going under putting even more people out of work, it will provide much needed tax breaks to the middle class and it will require accountability-unlike the 700 Billion that was just handed over to the bankers and brokers- with no strings attached- under the Bush Administration.
SEP...lol the so called Bush handout was a dem bill all the way, remember how Piglosi cried when it didn't pass the vote the first go around. Yeah I don't think that's gonna fly. That had dem written all over it. You crack me up!
Auggie, We already help the poor and BTW, I own a home, not a trailer. You dems need to get that out of your heads... we republicans prosper as well as democrats. However your comments indeed prove once again your mentality!
Clinton my ass... I bought my home in the 80's. LMAO
And why should I pay someone else's mortgage. Someone who wasn't smart enough to say, I may qualify for this mortgage but there is no way I can afford it.
So what? We are going to bail them out of their mortgage troubles so they can once again not be able to pay their mortgage and be foreclosed on again. Hmmm I think I vote NO!
Diana- keep on writing-the more you write, the sillier you look. It was Bush and his team Volker and Bernanke that brought the Bill To Congress threatening an immediate collapse if their request for 700 Billion was not granted forthwith. Republicans had no problem voting for this no-accountability,no- strings-attached windfall to the brokers and bankers. Only a completely delusional partisan hack would characterize that as a Dem Bill.
"So what? We are going to bail them out of their mortgage troubles so they can once again not be able to pay their mortgage and be foreclosed on again. Hmmm I think I vote NO!" Diana- That comment underscores your complete lack of knowledge about the Bill. People who have been accountable and paying their mortgages will be the only ones to benefit directly from The stim package mortgage plan...Unlike Bush's raw-deal bailout, The banks and lenders will have to provide verification of good payment records and the ability to pay for anyone to qualify for mortgage retructuring... What do you think you are dealing with here- Classic Bush ineptitude?
Why do you sneer at the poor and people who have lost their jobs and can't pay their bills? Do you think you are better because you can pay your bills? Your attitude is not only anti-American, but its anti-Christian.
