Dems do it.....err ....confusingly???

Ok, I'm sure confusingly is not a word, however I believe it is very fitting for the FLOW CHART for Obama's Healthcare plan. If you figure it out.....LET ME KNOW! I'm still confused....no wonder the health care plan is on the BLITZ!

I seriously have not had the time to STUDY the chart (I've been holding my sweet adorable grandbaby) wooo hooo!!!! But I have some comments from a friend of a friend who sent this out. Cinder...please thank your friend for the flow chart and the comments.

I may not be a genius but ought to be able to understand and follow a flow chart - right? Wrong. First of all I started with me = the "Consumer" and started tracing lines backwards to get to my Doctor = "Health Care Providers." You try it...then explain it to me, okay?

Here are my questions:First off - If the "people" are so important in America then why is the President and Congress at the top and us peons and the health care workers shoved off to the sides? I know that might be a petty complaint - but I'm just sayin'...Why does our IRS return information now go to the Health and Human Services Dept now?? I do NOT like that!!! Well, to be fair, I don't really like it going to the IRS either really...

Who the heck and what the heck is an "Office of Civil Rights" and "Office of Minority Health" and why are they stuck in there? What do they do and why? What do they do that is different or couldn't be handled by the other already established Minority and Civil Rights offices and bureaucracy...Where is the "Office of Caucasian Health?"

What is/are the NPDB and HIPDB and AHRQ and what do they do that some other department can't?And there are a couple of words I am coming to distrust, detest and loathe - "Community" and "Corps." The National Health Service Corps feeds the Public Health Workforce Corps which feeds "Community Health and Care Centers" which sucks money from the Public Health Investment Fund. That little chain doesn't seem to be directly attached to, or related to anything "Consumer" or "Doctor" related. Huh? Whats that all about?

How will a "Language Demonstration Department" help my health?? and why should I pay for it? What the heck is that?Why is the Surgeon General an isolated little spot with very little interaction stuck in the middle of this mess? What does he really do? What is he supposed to be doing? If he is so powerless and needless lets get rid of his office, especially since all of these other bureaus and office know so much more.

I know this was drawn up by the GOP, but where is an honest and sensible rebuttal from the Dems? Why aren't they drawing up and showing us their flow chart? Could it be that this is more accurate than not? Makes me think this one is true.I have a lot more questions but I am exhausted trying to think about all of this. Why is all of this necessary?Who is making money on this deal? You know somebody is getting rich somewhere and it isn't you, me or the Doctors.This makes me crazy - gotta go take a nap
