Associated Press reports:

TEHRAN, Iran – Iran tested its most advanced missiles Monday to cap two days of war games, raising more international concern and stronger pressure to quickly come clean on the newly revealed nuclear site Tehran was secretly constructing.

This happening just days after Obama announced that State television said the powerful Revolutionary Guard, which controls Iran's missile program, successfully tested upgraded versions of the medium-range Shahab-3 and Sajjil missiles. Both can carry warheads and reach up to 1,200 miles (2,000 kilometers), putting Israel, U.S. military bases in the Middle East, and parts of Europe within striking distance.

The missile tests were meant to flex Iran's military might and show readiness for any military threat.

"Iranian missiles are able to target any place that threatens Iran," said Abdollah Araqi, a top Revolutionary Guard commander, according to the semi-official Fars news agency.
Iran conducted three rounds of missile tests in drills that began Sunday, two days after the U.S. and its allies disclosed the country had been secretly developing an underground uranium enrichment facility. The Western powers warned Iran it must open the site to international inspection or face harsher international sanctions.

Iran's Foreign Ministry spokesman Hasan Qashqavi said the missile tests had nothing to do with the tension over the site, saying it was part of routine, long-planned military exercises.

Well aren't we all becoming BOLD and launching our missiles.... I mean first North Korea and now Iran. How funny after Obama decides to forget about the missile shield in Europe, Iran decides to let the world know....oops we have a 2nd SECRETIVE site we've not been honest about.

Ms. Snowe seems to be enjoying the power she holds over Washington at the moment.

Yes ...she is the MAYBE one republican vote that the democrats may be able to count on to hit 60... should she decide to vote for the HC bill.

Yes I do believe Ms. Snowe has been sleeping with the enemy this year. Hmmm wonder what it gets her? I also wonder what her republican constituents are feeling right at this moment. I mean she already voted for the stimulus package ....however she is holding strong on the fact that she will not vote for a HC bill with the public option in it. However she is all for using the public option as a threat against health insurance companies.

I just believe that if the Public Option is used as a threat we can all but declare that the public option will come to life. I think Ms. Snowe needs to figure out... you can't have your cake and eat it too. There is a fence Ms. Snowe..... get off it.... either side...just get the f*$% off the fence! You either are for it....or you aren't. Now which is it? Remember...those who voted you IN can vote you OUT!

Slash US Nuclear Arsenal!

Well this is one campaign promise Obama hasn't broken. I mean the Iranians are arming themselves as well as the North Koreans and Obama wants to DISARM America?

Barack Obama has demanded the Pentagon conduct a radical review of US nuclear weapons doctrine to prepare the way for deep cuts in the country's arsenal, the Guardian can reveal.

Obama has rejected the Pentagon's first draft of the "nuclear posture review" as being too timid, and has called for a range of more far-reaching options consistent with his goal of eventually abolishing nuclear weapons altogether, according to European officials.

Those options include:
• Reconfiguring the US nuclear force to allow for an arsenal measured in hundreds rather than thousands of deployed strategic warheads.
• Redrafting nuclear doctrine to narrow the range of conditions under which the US would use nuclear weapons.
• Exploring ways of guaranteeing the future reliability of nuclear weapons without testing or producing a new generation of warheads.

The review is due to be completed by the end of this year, and European officials say the outcome is not yet clear. But one official said: "Obama is now driving this process. He is saying these are the president's weapons, and he wants to look again at the doctrine and their role."

The move comes as Obama prepares to take the rare step of chairing a watershed session of the UN security council on Thursday. It is aimed at winning consensus on a new grand bargain: exchanging more radical disarmament by nuclear powers in return for wider global efforts to prevent further proliferation.

I at first thought....no no no ...I'm not going to say ANYTHING about ACORN. However 2 weeks later I just can't stand it. I have to say it.

I find it quite amuzing that a 20 year old can expose a huge big mess, and furthermore I also find it quite amuzing that none of the liberal media stations carried this? Why is that?

I believe it was Charlie Gibson who was on a radio show and was asked why he had not covered the story and Gibson replied....HE WASN'T AWARE of any ACORN story, 5 days after the first story hit the media and Charlie Gibson, prime time anchor for ABC had not heard of the ACORN story.

Until the media stands up and faces the facts and STOPS trying to make this administration something that it isn't.....we will never get ahead. STOP the madness. It's crazy... the media is standing by their man.... well let me tell you what... the MEDIA better stand by Americans. Enough is enough. Lets March on the Media next.

Boycott the liberal stations, have your friends boycott the liberal stations, and your friend's friends. We can all watch FOX NEWS. I for one have always watch ABC... I have written an email to ABC and they know they have one less viewer. Do it for America!!!

Urine or You're Out!

THE JOB - URINE TEST

(Whoever wrote this one deserves a HUGE pat on the back!) Like most folks in this country, I have a job. I work, they pay me. I pay my taxes and the government distributes my taxes as it sees fit.

In order to get that paycheck in my case, I am required to pass a random urine test (with which I have no problem). What I do have a problem with is the distribution of my taxes to people who don't have to pass a urine test.

So, here is my Question: Shouldn't one have to pass a urine test to get a welfare check because I have to pass one to earn it for them? Please understand, I have no problem with helping people get back on their feet. I do, on the other hand, have a problem with helping someone sitting on their butt - doing drugs, while I work . . Can you imagine how much money each state would save if people had to pass a urine test to get a public assistance check? I guess we could title that program, 'Urine or You're Out'

Good Ole' Joe Wilson

Joe Wilson from South Carolina has made it very clear that he WILL NOT be apologizing AGAIN. Piglosi is adamant that Wilson apologize to Obama again...in Senate Chambers.

Joe has made it perfectly clear.... he immediately apologized and Obama accepted his apology. What more can a man do. Piglosi can stick it up her..........ok fine... she can just stick it!

I believe Joe Wilson was out of line, however you can't blame a man who is not only compassionate about his job, but Americans as well. Joe stepped over the line.... the same line every other republican who sat in that room wanted to do. When Obama decides to start the straight talkin; stop pointing fingers; and takes responsibility for his job... maybe republicans won't have to shout out LIAR.

START A BILL TO PLACE ALL POLITICIANS ON SOCIAL SECURITY

SOCIAL SECURITY: Perhaps we are asking the wrong questions during election years. Our Senators and Congresswomen do not pay into Social Security and, of course, they do not collect from it. You see, Social Security benefits were not suitable for persons of their rare elevation in society. They felt they should have a special plan for themselves So, many years ago they voted in their own benefit plan. In more recent years, no congress person has felt the need to change it. After all, it is a great plan.

For all practical purposes their plan works like this: When they retire, they continue to draw the same pay until they die. Except it may increase from time to time for cost of living adjustments. ..... For example, Senator Byrd and Congressman White and their wives may expect to draw $7, 800,000.00 (that's Seven Million, Eight-Hundred Thousand Dollars), with their wives drawing $275, 000.00 during the last years of their lives. This is calculated on an average life span for each of those two Dignitaries.

Younger Dignitaries who retire at an early age, will receive much more during the rest of their lives. Their cost for this excellent plan is $0.00. NADA!!! ZILCH!!! This little perk they voted for themselves is free to them. You and I pick up the tab for this plan. The funds for this fine retirement plan come directly from the General Funds; "OUR TAX DOLLARS AT WORK"!

From our own Social Security Plan, which you and I pay (or have paid) into, every payday until we retire (which amount is matched by our employer), We can expect to get an average of $1,000 per month after retirement. Or, in other words, we would have to collect our average of $1,000 monthly benefits for 68 years and one (1) month to equal Senator Bill Bradley's benefits! Social Security could be very good if only one small change were made.

That change would be to Jerk the Golden Fleece Retirement Plan from under the Senators and Congressmen. Put them into the Social Security plan with the rest of us Then sit back..... And see how fast they would fix it! If enough people receive this, maybe a seed of awareness will be planted and maybe good changes will evolve.

Czars in his eyes!!

Well there's not much to say about Van Jones that hasn't already been said all over the Internet.

However I can say....it's about damn time Americans woke up and see what is going on with this administration.


Democratic Senator Byrd wrote Obama a letter when he had about 12 Czars telling him.... enough is enough. Byrd warned Obama that too many Czars would transfer the power from the congress to the white house?

Hmmmmm now Obama has 36....oops 35 Czars. I guess he doesn't listen to even the members of his own party. Obama announced today....labor day that he has appointed a brand new czar. Ron Blooom as "manufacturing czar".

I'm not sure if Obama is adding all of these Czars due to his lack of experience or not? Makes one wonder exactly what he is doing.,

40,000 Prisoners...Good Lord

Yes, you heard it right.... a Federal Judicial Panel has ordered California to release 40,000 prisoners over the next two years.

I know... I thought the same thing. WTF are they thinking? 40,000 convicts let lose on the streets in a time when shortfalls have scaled back the police forces, there are no jobs for hard decent working people, and California is on the brink of disaster.

Seriously, 40,000 let lose on the streets of California. I wonder exactly what types of jobs they will get. I can just imagine the crime rate in Califonia over the next two years. I'm all about reforming inmates, somehow I'm not believing that 40,000 inmates have been reformed. It's crazy, and can you imagine 40,000 criminals let lose in one state. Need we even guess what state will have the highest crime rate next year.

California Attorney General, Jerry Brown says that he has plans to Appeal to the US Supreme Court.
