Yes, you heard it right.... a Federal Judicial Panel has ordered California to release 40,000 prisoners over the next two years.I know... I thought the same thing. WTF are they thinking? 40,000 convicts let lose on the streets in a time when shortfalls have scaled back the police forces, there are no jobs for hard decent working people, and California is on the brink of disaster.
Seriously, 40,000 let lose on the streets of California. I wonder exactly what types of jobs they will get. I can just imagine the crime rate in Califonia over the next two years. I'm all about reforming inmates, somehow I'm not believing that 40,000 inmates have been reformed. It's crazy, and can you imagine 40,000 criminals let lose in one state. Need we even guess what state will have the highest crime rate next year.
